60 Candles, 30 Million Lights, Best Friends&Family at Disney--Priceless (New 5/23)

Happy with her cupcake, we boxed up the half that Nic saved for Todd, and we headed over to pick them up at Rock & Roll. They had not departed the ride as of yet, so I did something I'd been wanting to do for years...I got a tattoo. Hmmm...don't seem to have a picture of that either...I'll have to look for it in somebody else's photos (it was Tigger and Pooh).

I think I took the pic with your IPhone...I looked through my photos and cannot find it. Talk about self control, I left half the cupcake for my hubby! Thats love right there!

While Nicki and I had been shopping for her niece (of which she had no luck with), I had seen something I knew that Mark would love and picked it up for him. Here he is with his new treasure:

This was too cute!

Group back together again, we started walking. We were in need of some popcorn and the new Disney Christmas mug. On the way, it was time for another group photopass shot:

This next one cracks me up. They told us to look scared and everyone did...but Todd.

This cracks me up because it is so hard to get him to smile...here we are, all horrified and such and the boy breaks out this huge grin!

I love my mug, use it all the time...such a deal for $5

And someone else decided to go with the Mickey pretzel:

We kept walking as we had a destination in mind. We took our time as we needed for it to get dark before we could enjoy where we were headed.

Along the way, my little sis spotted this and, of course, we had to stop:

Nicki and I both got the Snowball:

Fantastic! Not too sweet, just perfect! So glad we cancelled the "Sharing" idea lol!

Oh my....was it yummy. I asked Des if she wanted a taste which she did and this is what happened when she took a taste:

She really liked it....and so did Andy as he kissed it off of her.

LOL! I completely forgot about this! She is too much!

It started to get a little darker, so we headed over towards the Osborne Lights and ran into the spot where you could have a photpass picture taken with Santa Goofy. We decided to park our butts right here so we would be near the front of the line to have our photos taken (I think we were the fourth group); Andy and Des had been walking around and were meeting us there and everyone was kind enough to let them join us in line. While we were waiting though, a funny thing happened. We're standing there talking--Mark, Nicki, Todd and me--when someone says to Nicki, "are you MickeyNicki?" I about bust a gut I was laughing so hard. My husband just looked at us and Todd says, "this happens all the time." The woman proceeded to say she had read my PTR and knew about the surprise trip and figured that's who we all were. It was just so unreal that someone knew who we were.

Up next, a meet and greet with Goofy and Osborne Lights

That was wild huh? It happens more than you would think..the first time someone came up to us and asked if we were MickeyNicki and Todd the hubby was shocked! I think Mark was surprised too! Well if I had to be famous for my husbands eating habits so be it

And what did we think of it? We were not overly impressed. I wasn't a fan of the "designing your own car" and the ride didn't change all that much. It was a bust as far as I was concerned, and Nicki agreed with me.

Seems like that is what most people are saying. I have heard several say they would really like the old queue back.

When we were last together, we had just taken a boat ride and arrived at Disney's Hollywood Studios as all of you smart people had guessed.

Hey, some of us dummies knew where it was, too.

I think someone was either: upset she didn't get to dance with Mark at Epcot or was so excited that she and I were going to have some "one on one" time together. You be the judge:

Horror upon horror, they were closed. They had JUST locked the doors. Nicki and I pleaded with them to let us in as we were only after one thing and we would leave immediately. They let us in and Nic told them what she was after and they pointed to the counter where they were. But there were none....they were all gone. One of the CM's cheerily said, "hold on, I'll go get one from the back" and that is exactly what he did. I was given two free cookies as we exited (they were going to throw them away otherwise) and Nicki got her cupcake:

Wow! Now that is major pixie dust. Just goes to show you that it never hurts to ask. And Disney CM's are still cool.

Great photopass pictures! and how amazing of those CMs! I say it all the time, but that's what really sets Disney apart from anywhere else. Those CMs that go above and beyond really make the experience!

I have to say that those CM's went above and beyond for us and were just the sweetest people we met the entire trip.

The question that begs to be asked here is: Why Starring Rolls always seem to close so early? Yay for the pixie dust and Nicki's mission accomplished. Gingerbread, yum! And who can pass up free cookies? The magic is alive and well
