A small fan might also help combat heat problems. You could get one that clips onto the stroller, so she doesn't have to sit holding it all the time.

Wow- thanks for all of the suggestions! I love the ice pack and the fan- makes sense. I have to laugh though- I remember our first trip to Disney as a kid my mom threw her back out- she couldnt even walk. We pushed her around everywhere. And when we left her chair for her to get on a ride- someone stole her ice she used for her back. That happened at least 3 or 4 times in a day. I thought they had to be really hard up for ice!
