6 thread on value vs moderates?

If you notice, almost every thread has something related to it in another somewhere. Lots and lots of questions on here have probably been asked before, but seem to get repeated over time for people new to the boards. Even though it may have already been asked, it seems different answers offer different views that may not have been touched on before. You can learn something from all of them.

Actually, if you notice *FANTASIA* was the last post on ALL of those threads and there were more than 6 (more like 10). For some unknown reason, she decided to bump every 'value vs moderate' thread she could find. I wish she would explain.

Why does it matter. If you don't want to read the thread, can't you just not open it? I really don't get why people get so bothered by similar (or even identically titled) threads. I like a lot of threads about the same subect. Something a little different seems to come out in each one. But even if they were exactly the same I don't see what that would hurt.

I guess I'm the cause of all the bummped threads on Value vs. Moderates. I asked the question earlier in the day today. I am just learning to navigate my way around these boards as my husband usually does all our post. I forgot about the search function until now. After looking through many pages I finally just decided to ask the question of value vs. moderates. I guess that the bumps are just a way to show me that I should have searched first. Thank you to those who did answer my question though and to the others sorry I asked a question that had already been asked.

Hope everyone enjoyed their recent trips or are looking forward to their trips yet to come.

There was this one particular thread that I just stumbled to which is very recent inquiring about "value vs moderate". I just wanted to help that person know that there's tons of answers and suggestions and tips on that subject with different situations and different backgrounds.

Exactly! But I guess some folks don't know how to do a search or even know that we have a search button. And some folks have a particular question and need a particular answer.

If you don't see something on the first one or two pages go ahead and post a question about it. Because in a lot of cases even if search the question the answers you find might be months old and the information might be out dated. What is wrong/annoying in this case is someone thinking they need to bump 6, 10 or more simular threads, some nearly 6 months old.

I wanted to do that.. I don't know how.. I wanted to link all of them all in one post! Before tomorrow comes, those "bumps" will be in page 2 and probably by the end of tomorrowit will be in page 3.

Sometimes when someone has a specific question it may be difficult to find an answer in a hundred different threads on the same subject. I know I've had that problem, so I usually end up starting another thread! I thought that was the purpose of this board.

I'm surprised at all the nastiness I've been reading on these boards lately. I will definitely be very careful before I post a question.

And Fantasia I don't think you should feel the need to apologize to anyone. We all have choices and if a thread is not interesting to someone then they shouldn't read it. I for one appreciate all the information and opinions that I can get.

All this "bumps" was not intended to be mean, but to actually help and I was hoping that that person would say..."Oh my.. now I have tons to read about value vs moderate!" of course in an exciting way.

Believe me.. right now I am doing a little search myself on Polynesian.. and I just get all excited when someone post their own thread on anything about Poly or asking questions about Poly. I do read them and it helps me learn more about them even if it may not pertain to my situation or my background, but it is good to know.
