At the CR gift shop, I bought a 6-pack of Heineken and a 4 pack of wine coolers and it cost $32 bucks. I haven't had sticker shock at wdw in years b/c I expect to pay a premium. However, this was borderline shocking to me. I was so shocked that I actually paid - if I was in my right mind, I would have told them to keep it and gone offsite instead.

The worst part was that I was bumped to concierge level and I didn't know that the concierge level offered complimentary beer. So the purchase, at least the beer portion, was unneccessary.

I read somewhere on this site that there is a place offsite but with walking distance that has beer at/close to regular prices. If I can remember right it was either close to DTD or MGM??? Can someone help me with this as I would like to do this.

I've paid over ten bucks with the "six-pack" discount and it really doesn't bother me at all. I'm a captive audience and if it really upset me, I just would not buy.
