6 kids under the age of 6 take on WDW, will Santa still visit when we get home?

I'm not all caught up yet, but I love what I have read so far and I can't wait to finish the rest, great TR!! Your kids are sooo cute, what a beautiful family you have! :goodvibes

Wow, I can't believe how long you had to wait at Coral Reef.:sad2: I'm also sorry it didn't turn out to be everything you had hoped. I know you were really looking forward to it. Sounds like the divers were entertaining though. I love how well they intereact through the glass.

I think Coral Reef was overwelmed with all the diver and special menu request as they are not doing it this year. My DD4 loves to watch the video from her diver at Coral Reef. What's cute with little ones is sometimes the memory becomes more precious than the actual moment was.

Cute menus.:thumbsup2

Loving your tr. I won't get through it all tonight but I will be back soon. You look like you handled the kids well. Can't wait to find out of Santa made to your house. I am still only on the first day so a lot can still happen to discourage a santa visit.

Hey Kristen,

So sorry to hear about your coral reef experience. I understand your pain having two older kids and the little one myself waiting is just not pretty...thus why you make the ressie. I can't believe you had to wait that long with the ressie. What is the point of making one?:confused3 Also a bummer that the "banner" wasn't so spectacular. It is good that it is free then and the menus. Love the pics in the menus. Glad that you at least got the fastpass out of the ordeal so you could get in a few more rides to try and recover the night. Can't wait to hear about HS. Hope you had better luck that day.

Have a safe trip to NY. Someday we hope to make it there (I'm a big chicken about that big of a city, lol)

Hi Tracy! You know what? The bummed part of the entire night was just it was one thing after another, if it was just wait, or the cake or the diver...but all of those things combined put me over the edge. Oh well, the kids didnt seem to care as much as I did, and I guess that's what counts, right?;)

We had a nice FAST trip to NY. We didn't go to the city, we were actually in the Poughkeepsie area...very rural. I don't think the boys are ready for NYC..someday but definately not now!! LOL!!:rotfl: Or maybe it's me not ready to take them, is more like it. It was great to see our friends and visit, even if it was a quick trip.

Hi!!!:wave2: Thanks for joining in!! I'm hoping to get an update done by today so stay tuned. And thanks so much for your compliments on my family!!!:grouphug:

I know, you know how much I was looking forward to it...oh well, best made plans, right? And all things considered we had a great week! And you're absolutely right, the memory is what counts the moment for sure and my boys had such a wonderful week that they are still talking about today as if it was yesterday...

The video of your DD was darling, she is such a cutie, I loved watching that!!:flower3:

Hi Nancy!!
I've missed you and your TR, thanks for stopping by!!!!! We couldn't have ordered better kids for that week..oops, guess I blew the surprise...shhh!! ;)

Hope to see you again soon!!
Take care!!

I can't believe we're moving into day 7 already...today was our last full day in the parks. We saved HS for the last park since we thought we'd do Fantasmic this night and go out with a bang so they say. pixiedust:

The night before, we sat out on the deck to make our plan of attack. We'd go in and grab fast passes for Toy Story Mania and meet up with the guys afterwards. We decided not to rush too much in the morning since we had a full day ahead of us with the show and all and meet up at 8 instead of trying for a bit earlier.

We met about 8:15 a.m and headed to Everything Pop for our usual breakfast. The guys had figured out what we had left on the dining plan for credits and we splurged and all got breakfast today, instead of Pop tarts/granola bars and fruit for the kids.

We headed out to the bus stop and waited for a bit to get the bus and there was quite a crowd, but it was a bit later than we usually got started so it was okay. We got to HS about 10 a.m. or so and it was another beautiful but chilly morning.

Here are a few snapshots on our way in....

We decided now was the time for our plan of attack...Todd, Adam and Cole went to grab fast passes for Toy Story Mania and we girls would take the rest of the kids to check out the Beauty and Beast show..so off we went!

We got great seats for the show and waited for it to start. I decided to grab some pictures of the kids (all in one spot!) & Tracey beforehand

And then a nice man asked if I wanted to be in the picture, so I said sure!!:)
Tracey and I with (most) of our babies!!:p

Adam, Todd and Cole made it back just in time with late FP for Toy Story Mania and another story of how they were wished a Happy Anniversary on the way!! LOL!!:rotfl: The show started...but not before I snapped a couple more pics, I guess all the walking made Coley tired....

Up next "Beauty and Beast show" with pics.....

I am generally just a lurker whose loves reading everyone's trip reports. I decided to come out of lurkdom for a few minutes. I am thoroughly enjoying your report. Your kids are absolutely adorable. My family took a trip in 2006 and there were 18 of us 7 adults and 11 kids ranging in age from 17 to 4. It's a lot of work just keeping track of everyone. It really seems like you all had a great time and the pictures are wonderful.

The show started and I have to say, it was GREAT!!!:thumbsup2 I took so many pictures, probably too many, but will narrow it down some for you. My boys have seen the movie and love it but they were truly enjoying the show (and I wasn't so sure they would sit through it all at first!).

The singing was unreal...you would have thought it was right from the soundtrack!

Look at their faces!!:)

Not sure Emmi was quite as enteratained by the show as much as she was by her fingers!!;)

Hi!!!:wave2:

Thanks for coming out from lurking!! It's nice to have you here!!!! And thanks for reading and for your nice compliment!:goodvibes 18 of you!! WOW...that's a lot to keep track of, and what an age range, was it hard to please everyone at the same time? I think since ours were all little (under 6) they all had fun doing the same things, most of the time. Ethan did comment on some things that they were babish, but enjoyed it when he was doing it! LOL!:rotfl2: I would love it if you continue to read, hope to see you back here!!:goodvibes

And some more pics from the show....they tell their own story, so not much to write here....

The Beast!! What great costumes!!

On our way out, we made a potty stop and got help up a bit...stay tuned!:upsidedow

Hi!!!:wave2: Glad you're here!!!! We had a great trip, wish I could back now!!! It was everything we hoped it to be, especially with 6 small kids with us!!!!pixiedust: Hope you come back and read the rest!!!!:flower3:

Okay, it was nearly 10 years ago that I worked this show. Many of the dancers are still the same. That blows my mind!

I'm so glad that you all enjoyed it so much.:)

Thanks! Yes it was hard to keep track of everyone, all of us adults spent a lot of time counting heads to be sure we hadn't lost anyone. Luckily for some of us we had been to Disney many times so we spent most of our time making sure the 1st timers and the kids were happy. All of the kids loved everything and never thought anything was to babyish, we actually got everyone but my mother and myself on Goofy's Barnstormer and they took up every car. :crazy2: Anyway, we had a great time and the were only one or two meltdowns.

Hello--just got done reading your trip report and have enjoyed it. We are 31 days out from our next trip and very excited. My youngest DD is going to be just Coles age when you went- 17mos. She was also 3 1/2 mos at her first trip back in Jan. 2008. I think you said one of yours was there at that age. Anyway, I was noticing your baby backpack. It looks lightweight and compact. Just wondering if you could post or pm me what kind it is. We have had a front pack for DD, but only used it at Disney. I wasnt sure if a backpack carrier would be to cumbersome to haul around as well as the stroller. Did you like having it? Thanks and thanks for the great trip report. It gets me syked for our trip to read about others:thumbsup2

Hi!!!:wave2:
Thanks for stopping by and reading my TR!! It's been fun to share with everyone, glad you're enjoying it. And lucky you, your trip is SO close now!!!:cool1: Where are you staying? Are you going to do a TR? Let me know, would love to read it, if so!

The baby backpack was great, I would highly recommend it. It's great for keeping the baby in one place, up high out of the crowds and for them to see parades and that sort. He really liked being in it. He wasn't so sure about it here at home, he'd cry for a couple of minutes and resist a bit when trying to get him in but once he was up, he loved it and would spend at least an hour in there! And you can see by some of my pics he even napped!!:thumbsup2 We bought it secondhand in babyshop here and it's a Snugli Crossroads. It's lightweight, airy and for $20, so worth it!! I bought it just for Disney, but it's been great for the aquarium and that sort here at home. How much does your baby weigh? It says it's for 16-40 lbs. Cole was about 21-22 lbs. at that point and he would get heavy so much more than that, I'm not sure I could wear him, but Todd would have been fine. It wasn't too cumbersome for us, when we weren't using it, we put it in our double stroller, it slide between the seats just fine, not sure what kind of stroller you're bringing? And I think you'd prefer this over a front carrier...I would think with a baby that big, your back would be breaking!!! :crazy2: Let me know if you have any more questions....if you were closer, I would have let you borrow ours!!:goodvibes

Thanks for coming by!! Hope to countdown with you!!:cool1:

Oooh, I love the Beauty & The Beast show. It's so much fun. I might have to try and see it again. :thumbsup2

The picture of Cole sleeping is adorable.

Looks like you had good seats for Beauty and the Beast. We did it 2 years ago during our September visit and it was soooo HOT even though it was shaded. I was miserable and just wanted OUT of there. We'll have to try it again when it is not HOT!!!

And of course, sorry if someone has already asked this but how TALL is your DH? He seems to tower the rest of you. (Tall and almost as strapingly handsom as mine.):rotfl2:
