There are 6 (yep, that's SIX) BCV listings on the Timeshare Store web site, ranging from 30 to 270 points plus an additional 6 for BWV. Why do you think there are suddenly so many listings, particularly for BCV??.

All 6 have been stripped and borrowed against.

They are also smaller add-on contracts with the exception of the 240 pt. one. The 30 point listing has the wrong price, over $7,000!!

At that price with closing, I'll take my chances with Disney!

These contracts are a good example of how difficult it can be to find a desirable contract through resale. Not impossible, just difficult. Some of these contracts have used 2004 and 2005 points and they are still listed at $74.

I guess the sellers had one last Hurrah! before listing.

Makes perfect sense! Typically I look at this but I'm at work right now! Thanks for calling to my attention!

It makes you wonder if the owner is going to end up getting a planned trip cancelled when the contract gets sold. The 50 point contract that won't have points until March of 2006 is an example. The current owner would have had to use those March 2005 points between March 2004 and now. That's not a lot of time. The new owner might end up with more points than he/she thought.

I doubt it. It's much more likely that the points have already been used - 100 BCV points wouldn't be hard to use for a spring break or early summer trip! JMHO.

When we bought our resale, the previous owners had used about 40 points of the contract.... we considered the going price on the rent board of $10 a point and gave them an offer of almost $400 less than their asking price....they took it. They hadn't banked anything for the year, so we banked what we could and took an impromptu weekend trip about 7 weeks later. I couldn't be happier with the deal.:D

Yes, we are!!! Our cruise is this August and settlement won't be taking place until after our cruise. All four of our listings sold within hours this morning. Due to health issues, we are looking into early retirement, and decided to put our points up for sale, we had no idea, they would sell so quickly.

:( Man, I wish I would have checked here earlier. Now all the smaller contracts are "Sale Pending". Would have loved to have gotten the 30 or 50. Good luck on your retirement and have fun on your cruise!

I dont think 6 contracts up for sale should be any kind of cause for alarm. I mean think about how many thousands of contracts are out there for BVC,I dont think we should be worried that six are up for sale. As we see one person had 4 of them. And that in a real short amount of time they have buyers for them just shows that it is a very sought after property. I am just gald I hopped on a 50 pointer a couple weeks ago before someone else got it. I was worried when I called it would have been taken, and the email was only sent ten minutes before I called

Congratulations and good luck. I enjoy reading your posts over on the cruise board. Watch that closing date.:earseek:

Thanks, we have everything in writing that closing can not take place until August 29th or later. We made sure we did not want to mess up our cruise!!!
