I am planning to have a birthday cake delivered to our table during our lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table for my 4 year old daughter. I called the MK magical cake order hotline to place my order, but was told that if I just wanted the 6-inch cake, I could order it when I got in line on the day of our lunch. CRT apparently always has the 6-inch ($12.50) cake on-hand. However, if I wanted to personalize the cake, I would have to order the 8-inch cake for $25 plus tax plus $8 more for a disney character on top.
I'm afraid the 8-inch cake will just be too much cake and I don't want to have to carry around leftovers all day. And I'm afraid the 6-inch cake will be some frozen, tasteless hunk of junk.
My question is this: Are the 8-inch cakes much better tasting and looking than the 6-inch cakes? Anyone out there ordered these??
