My DH and I are going to WDW in Oct. with 2 couples who have never been. We go as a family 1-2 times a year, so going without kids is different.

Since it will be during F&W festival, we are looking for ideas on where to eat. Thursday night is Raglan Road, Friday night is Flying Fish. Saturday night is.....???? Help? Also, since we are coming from Texas and our dining times are later at night, I was thinking of booking a breakfast somewhere. I like Fresh, but do you guys have any other ideas?

The 2 other couples we are going with are not really interested in rides or touring the parks. They just want to hang out in Epcot.

Thanks!!

Top restaurants I would pick are:

Le Cellier
Narcoossee's
Coral Reef

Resort Restaurants:
Boma
Kona Cafe
Artist Point
Whispering Canyon

If you want to hang around EPCOT I would suggest Le Cellier ( if it's not to late to get in ). Rose & Crown Pub & Chef's de France are also very good. If you want to hop on the monerail our favorite restaurant is California Grill at the Contemporary resort.

I agree with the others, Le Cellier is a good choice for Epcot, but since you are talking about this years F&WF you might have difficulty getting an ADR.

I'm actually going to give Coral Reef a shot on our upcoming trip.

As for other places to try...

Dinner:
Citricos
Grand Floridian Cafe
Boma
Jiko
California Grill

Breakfast:
Kona Cafe
Boma
Whispering Canyon Cafe

I'd choose Chefs de France @ Epcot. If you're willing to spend a bit more, go to Bistro de Paris. The Swan/Dolphin have some great restaurants too. That's a start. :) Without a price range, it's kind of hard to be more specific.

Are you sure you'll want breakfast after "hangin' out" in Epcot all evening? ;) You may want to try for brunch or an early lunch instead.

You are going next month and you don't have ADRs already - for a group of six???:scared1:

Good luck.

I have most of my ADR's. I was just thinking of Saturday night as a plus. We are staying at OKW so I know we can always eat breakfast and dinner there, but I was just thinking out loud. Anyway, Le Cellier had no availability but I booked the new italian place in Italy. Hoping it's good. Always willing to try a new restaurant.

Skip a meal and graze at the F&W booths. There are so many choices! Eat and drink your way around the world

Excellent suggestion. You can always find something good to eat this way and can get more if you really like it.

One couple we are going with want to try some sit down dinners. The want to eat and drink there way around Epcot during the day. They looked at the list of countries that are both permanent in Epcot as well as the kiosks, and are really excited. Although we have ADR's, I am going to try and switch them around today. If I can, great. If not, okay too.

Okay, I switched some things around...

Thursday night-Raglan Road
Friday night-Yachtsman
Sat. night-TuTu Italia, which I may cancel.
Sun. morning-Olivia's at OKW

I am not too worried about Sat. night. We can always find something to eat. After all, it is the food and wine festival!!

I was going to suggest Raglan Road-yet I see that you already have that on "the list!" Enjoy!

Great advice! We're leaving Saturday and have just a few ADRs, since we usually end most days at F&W festival. It would take several days just to sample the food items at the different booths, even if you split them with someone.

(I just did a mental count, and we only have five ADRs for a 7-day trip, all due to F&W festival grazing!)

We recently had wonderful adult-only meals at Spoodles (walking distance of EPCOT:)), Wolfgang Puck Cafe, and Kona Cafe. California Grill was amazing too! We did Chefs de France too. Service at CdF was wonderful; however, we were not impressed with the food (especially the escargot).
