The only "over-the-shoulder" restraint is on RnRollercoaster at MGM.

I read that one 6'7" guest was uncomfortable trying to fit under it, but another was just fine "slouching down" in the seat.

That may be the only one to be aware of.

Most attractions are very accomodating to most any size guest.

Have a great trip!

I'm 6'7" as well, and other than RnR, the ride that makes me uncomfortable is Space Mountain.

It uses a lap bar that's supposed to come down over your thighs and fit in your lap, but because the cars are cramped, I can't extend my legs out very far in front of me. This leaves my knees so high that the lap bar can't come down as far as it should. It ends up coming down *between* my thighs rather than *over* them, leaving them pinched between the lap-bar and the sides of the vehicle.

All of that side-to-side jostling against the legs is actually painful if I pull the bar down too far.

Of course, this isn't enough to keep me off SM. :cool1:

Just warn your boyfriend it could be a bit rough!

Mission Space also has the over the shoulder restraint, doesn't it.

Yes, M:S does have the over-the-shoulder restraint, but it's high enough that it doesn't compress down on my shoulders the way the RnR restraints do. My only complaint for M:S is that the screen ends up being too low to fully enjoy the video without "slouching" my neck down a bit. This is uncomfortable in the Orange version of the ride, but works OK in the Green one.

I would be careful with Space Mountain, but ask a CM and see what they think.

We are leaving for Disney in 17 days! My husband is 6'6" and I never even thought about him being to tall for the rides. Anyone know about Everest? Thanks for the info. :goodvibes

Everest is very accommodating.

I'd like to add that I'm not as tall as you, but boy was that RnR restraint uncomfortable. And I size 4-6 woman, so not exactly large except for my height which isn't tall at all for a man!

Maybe I was trying to pull it down (click it just ONE more time :rotfl: ) but I really didn't like this one. I really think you'll struggle as a tall person, if you're wide too, it would probably be even worse!!

Oh and Everest should be fine. They accommodate many different body dimensions, but the only restraint is a lap bar so you shouldn't struggle at all on that one :goodvibes

My son is 6'3 and has a very large build,
long legs and broad shoulders.

He had no problems -
Space mountain he said he didn't have much leg room,
but you may want to check with them for the height issue.

He went on RNRC, TOT, MS and had no problems what so every.

He did also say that on the trams - there is not much leg room!

I was just going to post the same thing. I'm only 5'7", but I have long legs and Space Mountain can be a bit of struggle. It's VERY awkward getting in and out with my knees up in the air, LOL! It's not pretty, lemme tell ya, when I try and roll out at the end :rotfl: The front seat has more legroom than the others so I suggest he ask for that one. It's still not totally comfortable (and I'm sure at his height he'll still find it awkward) but it is a huge improvement.

And yeah, it can get painful since your legs are jammed into the bar with each bump. . . but not nearly as painful as wearing a bra with not quite enough supprt (another story for another time) :rotfl2:

Don't attempt Goofy's Barnstormer. My DH is 6'4 and he was miserable.

My brother is 6'8"- and really had no problems on any rides. Some rides may be slightly cramped, but nothing a little slouching (or sitting up straight) won't fix!!

I am 6'4 and only have problems with space mountain. No leg room at all and the jostling is painful at times because of it.

Drew

Make sure that he doesn't get the 4th seat on Space Mountain, I'm 5'7 and feel cramped, it has the least amount of leg room. First seat probably has the most room, the CMs are very accommodating to which seats you prefer. :goodvibes
