6-7 PM on MNSSHP nights?

I’ve noticed in the park hours on the app for MNSSHP nights that the park hours are 9 AM-6 PM and the party is 7 PM-12 AM. But it says nothing about what happens at 6-7 PM. Do rides operate during this time for party people?

People who are attending the party can enter as early as 4:00 with their party ticket. The party officially starts at 7:00.

If I don’t have a ticket for the party, but am at the MK that afternoon, can I still be in line for a ride at 6pm and get on the ride? Can i take my time leaving the park and shop but not go on rides past 7?

Last time we went during Halloween time at WDW was 2013 and I heard things have changed since then, but if I remember right we got in line just before 7 (they used to be open until 7 before the party) and got on the ride but when we got off there were a lot of cast members asking people without party tickets to leave right away. So you should be able to get on a ride, but you probably can’t take your time to leave.

You can do everything until 6 PM. The park will close and you will have time to meander to the exit. Once 7 PM hits, all bets are off. YOu cannot enter a shop after 7, and will not be able to use anything in the park. PErsonally, I think the park close an hour before teh party is a very nice way to transition guests and to avoid confusion, because you do have the opportunity to do a little shoppin, or to use the facilities.

For day guests the park closes at 6pm. After that time no one may enter a ride line without a wristband.

For party goers you can enter at 2pm for dvc and 4pm. Merchandise will be available for purchase. Character lines were forming just after 3pm for big meets. And all rides open during party will be open. The ones with special effects close down 5-10 minutes before 7pm for just a few minutes to switch on the effects.

There are no fastpasses past 6pm. All fastpass times end at 6pm.
