6:30 at CG too early for Wishes?

Our trip is in August and I decided to go with CG as my birthday celebration dinner.
Of course, I want to be able to see Wishes.
We are staying CL, so I asked the planning office to determine the best time to make an ADR. I received notice from them and see they plan to request 6:30?

Isn't this kind of early?
I've read on other boards of people waiting for their tables and being mad because guests with early reservations lingered so long.

If it makes any difference the dinner is planned for Aug. 11, which is a Tuesday. August hours aren't posted on the Disney site yet (at least that I can find).

Planning office should be making this reservation in two days, I think. Any help is greatly appreciated.

at 10:00 PM so that it a little early probably by 90 minutes or so.

It used to be CG policy that guests could return to see Wishes. You had to show your receipt from that evening to ride up in the elevator. I haven't seen it mentioned that the policy has changed, but things do change. I'm sure someone here has more recent knowledge.

Thanks I changed the plan to request 8:00 or 8:30 timeframe.
Now, hoping I get the ADR
