I just called disney dining to try and change it, and the CM told me I'd be fine to keep it and we'd just have to leave when we're done eating. I guess we'll just show up and see what happens or maybe I'll call back and see if another CM gives me the same answer.

You are asking for stress. I saw the email response, but that is old news and will not be honored. You can call and get all different answers but they mean nothing so all your ammunition will be for nothing. If this meal is worth the cost of party tix, as you indicated earlier, then go for it but please do not plan to be seated without penalty without them.

Meanwhile, I know someone who asked about their 6:15 Diamond Horseshoe, which doesn't even list "Special Ticketed Event" hours and closes at 7:00, and were told by Guest Services that they'd not be permitted to dine.

Responses from phone and email CMs are wildly inconsistent. We definitely saw some lawn tantrums before our MNSSHP about ADRs and tickets.

It's just so sad to me that you basically need a PhD in all things WDW to plan these trips now....I enjoy it but know so many don't like this part of things and you can really get yourself into a bind.
