That the part I love about the Disney Cruise, is the idea of not having to be dressed up..Some of the other Cruise Ships, you do have to get dressed for dinner..I just cant be bothered My husband has to be in a shirt and tie all week, thats not how he wants to spend his vacation I most certainly do not want have to iron But I love seeing everyone else all fancy, especially nice for family pictures...Just not worth the drama for my family

2 weeks from today we will be in the air on the way to DISNEY!! We are spending 4 days at Disney before the cruise!! YIPPEEEEE!!

We have never cruised before and am "unsure" of the "dress code" for the dinners. The girls won't be a problem. What do DH and DS wear? I want to pack as casual as possible!! After all we are on VACATION!!

Fish extender gifts almost finished!! Still need to work on tshirts!

Oh another question, sorry. Do they give you anything for pirate night, ie, eye patch, bandana? Just wondering what to pack for that!!

We leave two weeks from tomorrow. Sadly only three days at the World but I will take it We will even make a trip to Universal Studios Island of Adventure. That is in addition to the cool three park passes we got for cheap because we are participating in the YES Program.

From what I remember from the past Wonder cruises, it is ok for the boys to wear khaki pants with a polo shirt. I would only pack one pair for each of them for dinner, then interchange the shirts. They will only be wearing them at dinner. That is what Dh is doing for the most part. He will have some slacks and shirt and tie for one night, with some khaki shorts and our Pirate shirts for Pirate Night.

As far as what they give during Pirate Night? They only gave a bandana, but even that was cool. I was torn with what was appropriate to wear during the pirate night, but we are settled on our khaki shorts and pirate shirts. I may add in a patch or something

Tessa is wondering if they will be playing Cars 2 on the boat..It comes out June 24th, but I wonder if they will show it anyway?

Today I took a fall in the Macy's parking lot.

I messed my knee up and did go to the dr. Thankfully it is not broken or anything. But hopefully, I will be ready to go in 2 weeks. So I am going to rest it as much as possible until then and use the crutches they gave me.

Only 3 more days of work, and while I am there I am only giving out finals, so I will just rest it then too.

The knee is better, more stiff than painful for now, but I will take it. Hopefully this means that things are looking up. I will be definitely taking it easy. At work today, I gave one final, and I didnt have to go and get the materials. It was brought to me

Glad you are on the mend! It's times like that when we learn to slow down!

Thanks for the tips on clothing. DH will be wearing khakis and a polo. He's not a formal guy. They'll just have to kick us out if they don't like it! The DDs and I will be more dressy.

Yes, I agree. I think that I needed to be reminded of that and to pay attention next time . No looking at my phone and walking. A BAD Combination. They wont kick you guys out for dh having the khakis on. DH has worn them on all of our past 5 cruises and not a word. We will do the dressed down day on pirate night with some khaki shorts and the T-shirts I made. That is IF they survive the trip Especially the crystal applied pirate skull and bones for dd and I.

You can check here. The cost of the water is $9 for 6 bottles and $35 for 23 bottles. Not THAT bad considering.. I will be placing the order either way. It is Evian water if that makes a difference (Not to me, but it might for others).

water is about $36 a case. Cheaper to by a case and stick a luggage tag across the front. We secure the sides with packing tape. They will tell you there is no guarentee that is it wll make it to the room. If it breaks they will not deliver it. Our water has made it everytime.

My FE must have been ordered from the same lady on eBay, it looks almost like yours. But I got 3 pockets and it is purple/green.

Almost finished with my FE gifts. Need to write notes - or are we not supposed to say who it is from?? Dunno.

I am swamped with work until the 15th. I am jealous of you ladies/teachers when the school year wraps up. No such luck for me.

My poor mom hasn't even STARTED on our pirate costumes, so I think I might not be dressing up after all.

The weather is soooo nice in Southern California I almost hate to leave for that humid stuff - but we will be in the balmy Bahamas soon enough!

I was hoping they will play Pirates 4 on the ship, but Cars 2 would be cool too.

Planning to buy bottled water in Orlando before we get to the ship. Not a case or anything just a couple big bottles. We are staying at a hotel the night before so we have plenty of time.

Start packing everyone!

We just watched the three previous pirate movie....in hopes that 4 will be playing on board. I can't imagine that Cars 2 will be playing, as it doesn't open till the 24th.
