6-17-2011 Dream Cruise

So, I'm working on my FE gifts. :rolleyes1 Has anyone else started working on theirs?

What is everyone doing for pirate night? We've never been on a Disney cruise so we don't really know what to expect. I think we are going to dress up but not go all out, just a pirate themed t-shirt, eye patch, earrings.....that sort of thing.

:banana: :cool1: :yay: :dance3: :cheer2: :goodvibes

We finally got our room assignment and I am happy to report that we DID NOT get an upgrade :cheer2:

For us with the very "excited" 2 year old, the big window is right up our alley. Now I can start the planning phase in peace :o)

yay...hopefully we will know soon too. Ours still shows gty.

I think soon will become time to start planning what I need to pack. Which really means time to plan on what I don't have, or like, and need to BUY!!:rotfl2:

It is so hot here in Florida right now I can't even imagine how June is going to be. But, on a ship with a breeze and cold drink with umbrella in hand, I think I can survive.

Yes...very good excuse for new clothes!! Like I needed an excuse!!

JetBlue called today and they moved my flight up 1/2 hr earlier :banana:

57 more days:banana::cheer2::yay::woohoo:

It was already 89 here yesterday!

Yikes! We had this awful snow/rain mix yesterday. Spring in Wisconsin is so awful! We are barely reaching the 40's here. So looking forward to warmer weather!

About pirate night....I got black t-shirts for DD12 and myself. Found an iron-on rhinestone skull/cross bones at Wal-Mart to put on front. Children's Place had a shirt with skull/cross bones for DD10. Cost was under $25 for all 3 of us. Can you tell I love a bargain?

A woman I work with got to go on a preview cruise on the Dream in Jan. (she has a family member who works at Disney~LUCKY!!). She said that they put bandanas on the beds during dinner, to wear at pirate night. I was wondering if they do this for everyone or only those on the preview cruise?

Isn't the anticipation a wonderful feeling?

Michele

I read on here somewhere that they give you a bandana for pirate night. It might have said they have it on your chair at dinner.....I can't remember. I'll probably take one for my DH and DS, though. I'd hate to plan on getting one and then not. :rotfl:

On our last cruise, they were on our table when we arrived at dinner.
