We should all get along great

Ok, after a few days of thought, we looked and another date opened for the Disney Y.E.S Program . It fits much better into the total scheme of things for us.

We signed up for the Synergy in Science class for DD(8), so her and dad will be going to have a fun educational time, while the little one and I maybe go to HS or something.

We got the 3 day tickets for $134 a ticket so that really was a steal (so to speak in Disney terms)

I am just excited that she will get this opportunity. I was going to sign her up earlier but the date they had was just the 14th (the day we arrive), and we would not have been able to make it. But now that they have the 15th available, so this worked out. Lots of walking so the cruise will be needed by then.

We are now considering cancelling our excursion and just walking around, and cancelling Remy (not sure yet). If there is anyone that may want a Remy, I will post in the next week or so with that decision. We are thinking of keeping Palo because it is not as pricey.

Now to go and make the attempt to iron-on these things on the t-shirts. Wish me luck..

Ok I put in all that I could to make sure that the t-shirts came out ok. They are not THAT bad, but some of those stones did not stay on the t-shirts. But at least the silhouette stayed .

Close up of the girls t-shirts. Notice that alot of the little stones are missing SMH!! I followed the directions but to no avail they are not perfect, but they will have to do.

Your shirts look great. I'm making shirts for all of us......myself, DH, DD and DS that all match. I have a design I really like that I found on the Creative Disigns board. I just need to buy the supplies and get started on it.

Hi! That is a black t-shirt. I got them each for a whopping $2.50 each at Michaels. So if Reese wants to match Kelsey she can do it for an awesome price . I thought about pink but the men in the family might now have appreciated that.

We signed Kelsey up for the Synergy In Science for June 15. Her and her dad will do the class. From the looks of it, it looks awesome. If course, I will have the little one so we might be heading to Hollywood Studios while they are there.

I think that I am going to buy some more supplies so that I can create more tshirt... Since I am so much more creative now..

What is the Y.E.S. Program? Also, what is the Synergy in Science class? Where is it?

What is the Y.E.S. Program? Also, what is the Synergy in Science class? Where is it?

YES is the Disney Youth Education Series. They are a series of educational "classes" that are held at one of the parks. The one in particular that we are doing is being held at EPCOT at 8:30 AM. The classes last about 3 hours,and they pretty much teach them the subject in question. For instance, ours is Synergy in Science. I am not sure but here is an excerpt from the description:

June 15, 2011
Take an in-depth exploration of the interaction between creativity and technology. By investigating technologies at work in Epcot® attractions, students discover the magic behind entertainment technology and its application to daily life.

I think that I read that they will be riding Mission Space, and doing some 3D stuff and leaning the science of how those work etc.. That is what I get from the research at least.

Because we are attending the class (well dh and dd), we got the three day tickets for $134 (and some change). I thought it was a good deal under the circumstances. Anything to help dd learn to enjoy a subject that I never got, will be priceless.

So excited the fares came down. I was prepared to drive the 10+ hours, but this is will so much easier on DH. It will give him a day to relax before the cruise. I think I will keep it from the kids and pack the vehicle as if we are driving and then surprise them when we arrive at the airport.
