HOw come when booking you didnt get to pick a room?
You know that is a good question. When we reserved last June, that was the only choice we had for the category we wanted. That is the first time that has ever happened to us, so this is quite interesting all together. The good thing is that we will have a room at or above (sometimes) the category we chose. So its a win-win sort of.
I would have preferred to choose the room but I wanted this date specifically, if that makes sense.[/QUOTE
Oh okay, so you did pick the type of room you wanted, just not the location..Got it![]()

We are in cabin 6516, near the front of the ship.
Question...how did you all get the ticker into your signature? Do re-create it each time you want to use it? Then, cut and paste?

It just had me heartbroken
A family was due to leave today but because of the weather, thier flight could not leave on last night. After so many hours of waiting, etc there were unable to leave, and therefore missed the cruise. They did not have the insurance.
I feel for the family, because that same situation almost happened to us for our first cruise. When I say almost, I mean almost by about 20 minutes. So much so, that the porter came running out to our car and told us to go and radio'd ahead. The story just brings me back to that time, and knowing that in a matter of minutes the same thing could have happened to us. Needless to say, out of all that we ended up missing dinner and everything (the 1st night) because we had no sleep from the night before from sleeping in the airport that night.
I feel for the family, but it is just something to think about. Ever since then we have always arrived 2-3 days (minimum) ahead of our cruise time. Not that, that would help if something went wrong.

Please think good thoughts for our family![]()
Once you choose what you want in your ticker, you will be prompted to cut and paste the web code. Choose the PseudoHTML, UBBCode or BBCode
Used on many message boards that don't allow HTML. This should be the case for most, including the DISTickers
I hope this helps.![]()
Thanks! I tried adding it to my signature. I'll know in a minute if it doesn't work.

We were going to fly in on the 17th @ 11:00 but our travel agent advised us to arrive at least the day before. I'm glad we did now reading your post.
Have to fax in a permission to the moderator for Leah to get her own usename. Did you all have to do that? It said if they're under 13.
I read that thread earlier today too. It is heartbreaking. It just had me heartbroken
