How was everyone's day? It was about 95 degrees here today!! Feeling hot hot hot....

Sorry, didn't mean to inturrupt this conversation. I wanted to join this cruise meet. My family and I are going on this cruise. I don't really know the protocol and what happens when you join a cruise meet, but I'm sailing with my husband, son (12), daughter (7), my mother and her friend.

I hadn't really made the connection about us possibly going to cozumel and the swine flu. This year may be the year I get insurance! If disney decides to change our itinerary, what would be the alternatives?

Today was pretty quiet. Although, I really have to get busy planning Rob's 10th Birthday. I did pick up most of his gifts on Friday. I think we are going to do a family birthday gathering on Sunday. I have suggested instead of doing a friend birthday party that we would take him and a couple of friends to either the movies or to Chuckie Cheese.

We also have Cub Scout events going on the next few weekends which also limit our time for anything else.

You would have to go out at 4-5 am

Shuttle launches are fun and very cool, but keep in mind that this could compromise travel on the 528 east that morning. Security around the KSC area gets really tight and Pt Canaveral is only a stone's throw away. Fortunately it is an early launch so all of the madness coming & going should be cleared by 10am... just in time for us to think about heading over

You absolutely CAN see a shuttle launch from WDW - just look to the eastern sky. It's lovely.

Look to the Eastern sky? Which way is that? How in the world am I going to figure that out?

I just wish there was a way to get closer to the action so Larry & Jayde could see it and we could get pictures of it. If only we would have know sooner we could have planned for this. I would have considered buy tickets to the launch.

I'm hoping, but I also think that we may be delayed a wee bit as DCL just opened up the FL resident rates last week for this sailing, so they are going to want to "fill up the ship" with that, THEN divvy up the remaining staterooms to the GTYs
