My DD will wear her 'fall formal' dress for formal night & a dress she wore to a wedding in Oct, for semi-formal. I am wearing a dress that I wore on a previous cruise, I'm thinking no one will notice! :) DH is just wearing a suit & tie, different tie/shirt on each night!

I'm wearing a dress from my previous 2 cruises- LOL It's my little black dress for formal night.(well not so little actually) :lmao::lmao:DH will be wearing dress shirt and tie, we'll see if I can get him in a jacket. :rotfl2:

Ugggh. I think I have another kidney stone. Thank goodness I have some of the pain killers left over. Drinking tons and tons of H20. Better now than in June, though! ;)
I feel your pain! I get them EVERY spring. Just passed one about a month ago and I think I might have another now.

I feel for you!! because my brother has had those so bad that he may need a kidney or have to use a machine, due to him having so many that couldn't pass that they have to go in and one of his kidneys can't take that anymore either.

Ut oh? Mean change? What is going on with this? What do you guys know?

All I know is I don't like change! LOL

I am sure it will still be good! I am however a VERY picky eater! As long as there is still risoto one of the nights I will be all good!

LOL

DH and I probably won't be dressed for Pirate night but DD's will be! Here they are last summer...

Oh my goodness Stephaine, your kids are adorable. :)

I made us t-shirts with a mickey head & a bandana on him. That is as much as I could get my crew to wear! :)

I inquired about the Stingrays at Stingray City and how safe it is...

Diane,

Yes they are debarbed; the excursion is quite safe.

Sarah,

I have a question for you and don't laugh at me. The Stingrays for the excursion in Stingray City do they still have their stingers?

A message posted now it has me thinking...and second guessing.

They still have their stingers- they have not been debarbed.

Really? Why in the world would they have told me that? So frustrating!!!! Thank You for letting me know.

Oh well I guess we will still do it and just be careful.. I have heard from soooo many people what a great time they had and it is fantastic, a once in a lifetime...and who knows if I will ever have the opportunity to do it again.

So do most women wear long gowns or cocktail length dresses for Formal Night? What do they wear for semi-formal? Cocktail or church dress? How dressy for Palo?

(can you tell I'm ready to shop?)

Last cruise- Jordan and nephew Jaden:

Steve and I just wore pirate tshirts and the bandanas they gave us:

Jordan will be wearing a Pirate dress that she wore to the P&PP party for this cruise, Steve and I will be wearing pirate tshirts and probably bandanas if they still offer them.

I don't know how they could debarb all of them- it's literally in the middle of the ocean- the company that we went with(and this was years ago)said that they come from all around the island to feed there. Maybe they've figured out a way to debarb all of them, I don't think they could though- LOL. Anyway I do think it's an awesome experience- go for it!!!:thumbsup2

I would definately say it is safe.

I am wearing a knee length black dress for formal, and a knee length turquoise and white dress for semi formal- I think you will see lots of different dresses- short and long- go with what you prefer.

Nikki...loved your pics! How cute :)

I'm wearing long for formal & knee for semi. In less something changes from now till then!

Our last DCL cruise I didn't think that many people dressed up. On most nights guys wore dockers and polo's, ladies skirts or capris. On the formal and semi formal I saw more dresses and skirts, but nothing too fancy... Most people I saw did not wear cocktail dresses or suits...

Wear what your comfortable in. But don't feel pressured to go out and buy formal wear.... if you don't want to.
