Hi, y'all! The rate this thread is going, we will have to start a new one way before our cruise!

Happy Birthday, Fran!

I think the kids and I will be on Deck 9, but DH may go to Deck 10 to video it all. I'm up for saving spots too! Can't beat a good spot!

Going out for drinks/dancing sounds good too. And I would love to do the Mate game on the 1st night. DH and I will be married 14 years tomorrow (yes, April Fools Day- no joke and then we had triplets...) and have been together for 20 years. Be interesting to see if we really know each other!

Love the new magnets. I have TWO doors to decorate, so I'll need some help. Still debating 1 or 2 FE as well.

Happy Anniversary!! Ours is April 6th, 13 years married for us- 15 together- but I knew him long before we dated. We couldn't stand each other!!

Congratulations! I didn't day 20 was all I have to lose I could lose 100 and be happy! I will just be thrilled to lose 20 more by the cruise. Then of course I know I will gain some back while on the ship

Yeah- I figure I can lose 10-20 before the cruise, but afterwards I need to lose the rest!!

We are booked on the same tour I've also read the reviews and we can't wait to swim with the stingrays!!

Hey, that's great! I'm going to need another adult figure to coax me into the water with those stingrays! I think their office is a short walk from where we exit the tender. Maybe we can coordinate walking over there together?

I've done 2 Disney cruises as a single mom, and I can confirm . . . . There are no single men!!!! Or they are hiding out somewhere . I would love to drink/dance one night - now that my dd is older and wants to find other kids her age to hang out with at Ocean quest (so she says anyway) I may actually have some time on my hands . . .
Another thing thats fun to do with a group is the Martini or Margarita tasting (sitting there alone feels just a little bit pathetic).

Re the sail away party - definitely deck 9 - its so fun to be right in the middle of all the energy. Of course, this year if I dance, I'll probably mortify my dd. That "moms are embarrassing" thing sure came on fast

OK everyone, anyone else who hasn't joined the FE exchange and wants to. The cutoff is April 1st- we have a pretty big group so we will be holding to that date, to be sure everyone can buy or make their gifts by our cruise time. PM me by tomorrow night to be involved in the fun!!!!

Brag alert: my DS, Rees, was just given the Rising Star award for 2nd grade for his school. He will be honored at a luncheon. This is a HUGE deal because of all that Rees has been through. He has a host of very serious medical issues, and has been in and out of hospitals for months at a time his entire life (last one was Sept-Nov 2007). He missed 6 months of 1st grade, and has completely caught back up. He also has neuro issues from being a Preemie and school can be tough. He has struggled and fought his entire life and is always happy and upbeat. I haven't quit crying since I opened the letter. I am so proud of my little man! Can't wait for y'all to meet him. He is the most fun, happy, smiling, Disney loving kid!

Pub Night is on Friday night. :-( It is sooooo fun though! It is a night where the cruise staff dresses in CRAZY outfits and just has fun. It is such a good time!!! After pub night we went ot rockin b dar and continued the party....it went into the weeeeee hours of the night! Then we woke up the next morning and went home...

Pub night is awesome! I had a blast on the last cruise, but sure didn't feel like getting up early the next morning...

Not as crazy as the fact that mine are out and stuff is already packed in them!!! LOL

I know, I am just a little crazy!

I thought I was bad...I have a big box of stuff just waiting to be packed....

I did both of those on my previous cruise! I had a great time at the martini tasting, because I was seated with a group of single ladies. BUT, I will admit to being the pathetic single woman at the tequila tasting.... It was still fun, though! LOL!
