From the info I have on page 1 - 19 DISers with 46 adults & 36 children

Again for anyone just joining in, let us know if you like to join in the FE exchange. Nikki is our wonderful organizer.

Yep, info above is correct, looks like we have a pretty good size group. I can't wait for all of the goodies! Does anyone think we should have a cut off time for joining in the FE- maybe 30 days before the cruise? Let me know what you think.

I definitely think we should have a cutoff time but I am an OCD planner and I will have FE items decided on long before 30 days :)
Since the majority of the group has been very active so far and we have a GOOD group of people already, I was thinking like at the 75 day mark or something. That’s just my opinion – of course I will go with whatever the consensus is.

That sounds good, maybe it should be a longer time. When is the 75 day mark? Or how about we go with April 1st? How does that sound to everyone? We can add it to the first page. Let me know.

I have called DCL twice and received the same info concerning our June 13 2009 western. "Passports are not required for closed loop (meaning leaving and returning to same port) but highly recommended." We have traveled in the past with BC but DH and I are getting passports and kids are traveling with BC. I know a risk however the kids usually don't even go ashore except for CC.

Well it has been a roller coaster over the last week. Long story but as it stands now, I think my DH will be fine. A couple of weeks of significantly reduced hours but he still will have a job and should go back to getting most of his hours. :thumbsup2 Thanks for all the well wishes. :goodvibes

:welcome: to all the newcomers. Let me know if you would like your info added to the first page. Also, if you would like to join us in the FE exchange tell me yes and pm Nikki with you info.
I would love for you to add my info to the 1st page. Thanks for asking and the Big Welcome!

Since I have never been on a 7 night cruise before, I have a couple of questions about the dinners. How formal is the formal night? princess: Do you HAVE to be really dressed up? What is Semi-Formal night? I don't want to look out of place and I don't have a lot of exptra money to go out and but clothes that I won't be wearing again, if you know what I mean...??? Being a single mom I am cutting every corner close to pay for my cruise, excursions, and photo's while on board. I just don't want to be clueless and :laundy: hung out to dry and feel out of place at dinner. THANKS!!!!!:thumbsup2

Last December was our first cruise and I asked this question on the main cruise board and everyone sent me nasty pm's telling me that if I wanted to cruise my children should be dressed properly, since I received so many nasty pm's about it I went out and bought my sons a suit for formal night, dressy slacks and tie for semi-formal night and khaki slacks for the rest of the week. Well my children were the only ones in our sitting area and the ones on each side of us dressed up every night, they were so upset with me because they were not comfortable at all every night. This time I will pack the same suit for them to wear on formal night (since I already have it and it still fits) and they will wear a polo shirt and pants the rest of the week.

Well, I love dressing up on formal and semi-formal. But we probably weren't as formal as others. I don't even know if my dress would actually be considered "formal". We matched on both nights- I wore a black knee length dress, DD(5 at the time) wore her blue Cinderella princess dress, and DH and nephew(7 at the time) wore blue button dress shirts, black pants, and black pants. We were all fine with what we had on. I'm gonna find a picture- OK here it is- Formal night:

OK- this is my scrapbook page from Semi-Formal night- I don't have a good picture except for the one in my scrapbook:

I'm obsessed with pictures- so I definately wanted to match- so my scrapbook pages would look good.

Well we are going out of town this weekend. We will be back on Tuesday afternoon. Hope everyone has a great weekend. :goodvibes

Double digits.... :dance3: :cheer2: :cool1:
