For all of you guys waiting on job info today, I wish you the best! I am employed by the university and we are on shaky ground since our state is implementing serious budget cuts soon. We don't know how it will be worked out. For the most part, I think I am okay but no one is immune I think.

Add us to the group. We also have 2 - CAT 12's. Dad, Mom, 13 daughter, 11 son, 19 daughter and her boyfriend 21. This will be our 6th DCL cruise. We were originally booked on the 8/15 Western, but got wind of this deal on the 6/13 Western on the DIS board. Watched the DCL website closely last week and got one CAT 12 on Mon and the other on Thurs. Saved us $3100 and we get to go two months earlier. Now the real planning begins.

Well it's March 2nd(isn't it almost spring!!), and we got a bad snowstorm that lasted from last night until later on today. Guess who's at work? All of the counties and cities surrounding us have school closed. My mom is watching DD, she works for the city school system, and DD goes to a county school, so at least I didn't have to find a sitter for today, mom lives right next door. There is at least 8 inches on the ground and it's about 21 degrees(and it feels like 10 degrees). They didn't even plow our work parking lot- it's not a good day!!!

Just looking for some personal experiences here. What time do you like booking your Palo dinners. We are looking to capture the sunset on Monday (formal night). I booked for 7pm because the sun should be setting around 8:30p. What are your thoughts?

So I am on a booking frenzy. I was able to get (and will keep) the Alone Time Treatment on a sea day (perfect day and time for me) - which I am very excited about. I booked the Exotic Rasul but not that excited about(and may cancel). My question is what would be a good time for that one? Any experiences?

Also if you have any questions about what time slots there are for anything - please ask away and I will post.

Good morning everyone! We are all at home today because of the snow... I will try to work some from home later on but for now I am surfing the net and enjoying not having to be at the office on a MONDAY!

I hope everyone who is going thru the job crunch hangs in there... 3 of my siblings have lost their jobs and only one has found another

I had the alone time booked on the last cruise and I had to cancel because it conlicted with the end of the character breakfast

and the cruise before that I had the exotic rasul booked but had to cancel because I ended up cruising 5mon pregnant.....

I hope I can schedule something this time!!!! (and keep it)

Has there been a consensus on the PALO Brunch or Tea as a group and when we would do that?

We are on the fence. We have only done the dinner and while impressed don't think we want to do that this time.

We haven't even done the dinner, DH was not that impressed with brunch- but we will be going!! I love it!!

Well, I found out today, I will be keeping my job, well a similiar job in the same department at the other bank that bought ours out. I believe I am the only one that got a position, I used to work as a supervisor at that bank with all of the same people- so I do know the work, systems, etc. I feel bad for the others in my department though.
