I am one of the early posters on this thread and have not viewed it for a while, what a response difference since the Cat 12 sale. We are sailing in one of the SPH rooms (booked this over a year ago). We are DW Mariann, DD (14) Gwen, DSIL Jan ,and me Glenn. We are from PA (go Steelers). I am looking forward to this cruise and hoping we have no more school cancellations since we leave the night of the last day of school. As far as excursions we are looking at an Electric car in Key West (never been there), the Tulum trip in Cozumel. and a general tour in Grand Cayman. Not sure about CC, we did the Eco tour last time and my daughter loved it, but not sure if she will still be interested since she still can't drive the jet-ski. I am collecting stuff for door magnets and have my magnetic paper already. Had not thought about doing the FE stuff since there seemed to be so few people from the boards on this cruise before. Could someone point me to a thread or give me some ideas on what people do for the FE gifts? I will be following this thread a little closer now. Best wishes and hope to meet some of you in June. :wave2:

Welcome back!! LOL:wave2:

Hi everyone - I just booked this cruise today! It will be my dd and I - she's 10(almost 11 when we cruise). We were scheduled fror the March 30th Eastern, then the May 30th western, and now this one. I'm a lawyer and I keep getting trials moved into my vacation time. First time in 14 years of practice this has happened, and now it has happened twice! (keeps getting more expensive too). Oh well, it will be here soon enough!
We are from Colorado and this is our 3rd Disney cruise. We did a Mexico cruise in 2005 and a western in 2007. Loved the Western last time, particularly Cozumel. It sounds like you've got a great group here - looking forward to getting to know you all.

Welcome!!:wave2:

WELCOME!!!!!!!:grouphug:

Hello everyone. I am finally feeling somewhat back to normal. I have missed the DIS and my daily Disney fix. Welcome to all the newbies. Ok for the question of the week here is what I am planning...

Key West..not sure, maybe rent an electric car, also read something about a pirate museum and a scavenger hunt...does anyone know anything about this? thought it might be fun for Zane

Grand Caymen...possibly and island tour of some kind or maybe just walking around on our own

Cozumel...Dolphin Discovery !! :cool1:

Glad you are starting to feel better. Which one are thinking about doing at Dolphin Discovery?

We are just doing the encounter, it's the only one Zane is old enough for, and neither of us are what I would call strong swimmers. We are really excited about the encounter though.

Hi everyone - just butting in on the dolphin discovery question. We are doing the royal swim. We did it on our last cruise and it is fantastic (fantastically expensive, also, especially with the pictures you will convince yourself to buy because they are so cool). anyway, there is an age limit, but you don't really need to be a strong swimmer, as you have on a life vest. It is without a doubt the best excursion we've ever done. Even if you don't do any of the dolphin encounters, Chankanaab park is a nice place to spend the day. Its very clean, nice pool, good snorkeling (although the entrance to the snorkeling lagoon is quite rocky - little kids might be nervous). If anyone else is considering it and has questions, I'd be glad to answer them.

Glad to hear you don't have to be a strong swimmer...I will have to put this on our list for next time we are in Cozumel (Nov possibly) as Zane will be old enough by then. How long ago has it been since you have been there? I am just trying to get an idea of how much to budget for pictures and the video because I am sure I will want both.

I need afew more posts before I can PM. Perhaps If you send me a PM I may be able to respond so I can join the facebook group (or at least let my daughter join since I am not on Facebook yet)

I am SOOOO out of the loop. This board has exploded! I haven't been on here since Nov & for some reason don't get email updates.

So, I will start over. This will be our 3rd cruise (2nd Disney).

Add us to the list, please:
Me: Deb, 37
DD: Jayde, 16
0-16 (for the football fans), MI (Detroit for others)

I will look into FEs. Crafty but in my own way. Never thought of decorating our door (I think DD will not go along w/it).

FB junkie... so addicting I am waiting for a FBA meeting to begin.

No excursions for us (daughter vetoed them but will get off the ship). I have 1 place in Cozumel that I need to figure out how to get there.

This trip can't get here soon enough! :beach:

Hey everyone!! Tonya, glad you are feeling better!!:cheer2: I was off from work today, very relaxing!! I was just thinking that our cruise is really not that far away!!:beach:

Glad you checked in. I got you added to the front page. :wave2:

Hey everyone!!! We had a snowy day here.... Nice but now I must make up 8hrs for work aaahhhhh!

We are lucky in that aspect. We do not have to deal with snow much. In fact this past December was the first time since 1989 that we had any measureable amount of snow.
