Hey all- another busy weekend for us too!! Jordan had a Christmas recital and party at Ballet, we went to a birthday party for my god-daughter(the same age as Jordan) and then she had a sleepover afterwards. Sunday was DH's birthday, and I wrapped all of my gifts. This week will be just as busy!!

Our weekend just flew by! I think I'm just about ready for Christmas...I guess it's coming whether we're ready or not!!!!

This time last year I was getting ready for Christmas and packing up for our 7-day cruise. I sure don't miss that chaos, but I wish I was going to be back on board the Magic for New Year's again!!!!

The Christmas and NYE cruises look really nice, would love to do one sometime.

Well, we are getting ice rain here around north Dallas area.
Sure wish we would get snow instead. But what can you do when it is 24 degrees outside and ice rain. Go and talk on disboards.

It's been raining here all day, but I saw a few snowflakes outside. That's crazy that you all in Texas are getting snow- that doesn't happen very often, does it? Be careful!!

Luckily in this part of TX it's just really cold...no ice and hoping it stays that way the rest of the winter !!

It was sleeting last night, but just rain now. Of course we had to go to a birthday party last night in it. Tonight we have Jordan Christmas party at school. Lots to do this week.

I would rather it be cold than what we got; misty, muggy 72degrees. yuck. We need some snow or at least some clear cool weather. We had a pretty good cold snap to get us in the Christmas spirit but this weather just makes it feel bah humbug

Apparently the front that stretches all the way back to TX stalled about 20 miles away from us.

Well, some more Cat 12 cabins became available today. I added my Mom and Dad.

So we are now 3 cabins (8 cruisers)

Hello, fellow 6/13 cruisers! I just found this thread, so thought I'd introduce myself.

My name is Lisa and my DH is Dave. We have 2 kiddos, Samantha (11) and Matthew (9). We were just on the Magic over Thanksgiving, and didn't plan to sail again until 2010 or 2011. However, when we saw the deals on the Cat. 12s we just couldn't resist. Here's the scoop...we wanted to take my mom on a very special trip for her 60th b-day next year, but were unsure what to do. When the great price popped up, we decided the cruise was it. (We're all HUGE Disney fans, as we live in San Jose, CA, just a 6 hour drive from Mickey's original home.) My mom lives in Missouri, so we aren't going to tell her about the trip until Christmas day. We are going to surprise her with a gift bag full of clues, and see how many it takes her to figure out what we're doing. So fun!! We'd already booked the buy 4, get 3 deal at Pop Century for 6/20-6/27, so we'll combine them for a truly special birthday celebration for her.

I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you a little bit more before the trip.

I think it would be great fun to do fish extenders, as some of you have mentioned.
