I just received EXCELLENT :cheer2: news... my DD's finals are a day earlier than originally suppose to be SOOO we are flying in on Friday instead of chancing the Sat am flight (would land at 11:25am).
BAD :confused3 news...they only offer a morning flight arriving at MCO around 1125am & most check-ins are not til around 3 or 4ish. Any suggestions of where to stay or what to do until check-in? The last time we flew in a day before it DOWN poured the entire time & spent most of the time at the mall. Thinking about just staying at the airport hotel (Radison?).

Or should I splurge & surprise my DD w/a trip to WDW (she has never been)?

OK, I know I have it bad when I dream about other people's itineraries. :lmao: I had another thought if you want to save some $$$ and still get a great Disney experience! Priceline an MCO area hotel for the Fri night, and get a rental car. You only need a 24 hour rental since you arrive at 11:30am and will be dropping it off in Port Canaveral by that time next day. You can drive to DTD (Downtown Disney - to shop and look around -free parking), hop the Disney bus to TTC (ticket and transportation center - again free), take the Epcot monorail (get some great photos of Future World), go back to TTC, take the resort monorail, and visit the different resorts - Contemporary, Polynesian, Grand Floridian, (free), watch the water boat parade in the evening (can't remember what that is called) from one of any of these 3 resorts from their beach/marina area, stay and watch the MK fireworks (all free!). You should be able to snag a rental car for about $40, 2.5 star hotel for $40, cancel your DCL transportation to the port (save $70) and get to the port by 10am (before the DCL bus will get you there). You can also pick up any last minute things you may need on the way by having a car. Final additional cost $10 (plus food, shopping). Experience, priceless!!!:thumbsup2

Our TA has set up for us to celebrate the kids 9th b'day on either the 2nd or 3rd night (need to double check) at dinner (their b'day is June 23rd). What does DCL do? I can't believe we will have THREE 9 year olds. Boy does time fly.

We were celebrating my DD's 5th bday on our last cruise- they bought a beautiful piece of cake to the table and sang to her.

They'll love that. I think I'm ordering the room decorations for the b'day celebration too and probably a basket from The Perfect Gift.

I'm ordering something from Perfect Gift too, I think we'll probably get a sand bucket for Jordan- we ordered a Pirate treasure box from Shirley for her with a bunch of Princess and Pirate stuff in it. She loved it!! She's graduating from Kindergarten so we're doing something for that.

Brooklyn- I love the Dolphin pics!!! I am so excited about doing the encounter in Cozumel!!

Diane- Did you book your parasailing already? I wonder how many they are letting on the boat? I'm excited about that too.:cool1:

Your girls are way too cute!!
So how do you make these amazing magnets? I admit to being jealous and clueless.
Welcome aboard.
Beth

Thank you! I studied graphic design in school so I love to create things! I also have 2 AMAZING programs that have 1,000's of Disney Clip Arts...which helps to make life a little easier. ;)

For all the new members, this is the design for our cruise. You can put the little one in your signature. I will be making magnets of the big one with your family name as part of our FE gift. Please PM me your last name!

I PM'd you. I would love one of these. I tried making one & wasn't successful!

Thanks so much!
Paula

On its way to you...:)

That is so cute! I would love to make one.

Not sure if you wanted a blank one or not so here is one just incase. Also if you would like me to put your name on the top I can do that too. ;)

That's a great price- I think we will be taking my Mom on the next DCL we go- we talk about it so much- and I know she would love it!!

My last magnet for today. We are off for 2 days at Disneyland and all I want to do is stay home and plan this cruise... :rotfl: Off to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Does anyone know when we will be arriving at Key West. I'm trying to book parasailing for my DD & her friend.
Sorry, I found it on Disney's site....guess I should have looked before asking. My DD is wearing off on me!

WOW... And your charge is???

That actually sounds great!!! I think I will end up telling my DD & see what she says (teenagerism has its moments). Since this will be our first chance for her to go to WDW ~ I am not sure what she will decide.

Since we are getting in at 12:55 on Friday, I would love to take the Epcot monorail (get some great photos of Future World), go back to TTC, take the resort monorail, and visit the different resorts - Contemporary, Polynesian, Grand Floridian, (free), watch the water boat parade in the evening (can't remember what that is called) from one of any of these 3 resorts from their beach/marina area, stay and watch the MK fireworks (all free!). Let me know if you would like to coordinate and go together, it sounds like fun!!! My 14 yr old DS and your DD might get along and have fun too.

I know, it is so cute, isn't it. I requested one too!! LOL She is talented.:artist: Are you decorating your door too?
I'm going to attemp to decorate it unless Stephanie is willing to do it for me since she did a WONDERFUL job on her's. I have enough to celebrate to decorate it (My DS 14th Bday & 8th Grade Graduation & My 40th B-day).
