6/13/2009 Western on Magic- Our Cruise Chat Continues!

We're driving straight thru from Ohio, found out DS has a baseball game at 6 so we'll leave after that, probably 9pm by the time we pull out. My DH likes to drive all night to avoid all the traffic, I'm not sure how long it will take to get to the port we usually make it to DW in 17 hours, the port is closer right? We usually make good time till we get around Daytona then we hit the traffic and it slows us down. I'm thinking we'll pull into the Radison sometime early afternoon on the 12th.

And I have matching disney shirts for us all to wear on our first day.

I finally got all my summer clothes out today, yeah!! I'm pleased my shorts still fit now to just pick up a few new summer tops. I always buy for all the kids and DH and I look like a pauper, but I'm turning over a new leaf and going to try not to feel guilty on spending money on me!!

I know the feeling, but then again I don't have to have Holister,American Eagle, Aeorpostale on my behind, so it doesn't cost me as much...go figure that!

I'm glad we won't be the only ones with matching tshirts. LOL I'm hoping we get there around that time as well. I want to be lounging in the pool by around 1- if we get there by 12.

I was too late to joing the FE, so if you have an extra, my kids would like it. If not no biggies - room 1046 and 1048. You're sweet for doing that!

How old are your children ... I am just ordering my gifts and can certainly add you into my number ...

My kids enjoy dressing up (more so the girls) for Pirate Night ... I always make sure we color coordinate, so we'll probably be wearing black, white and red!

Oh you don't have to, that's really sweet of you to offer. They are 5 and 7 but please don't feel the need to do so. I'm not even sure what the whole FE is about, but it sounds like fun! Thanks for thinking of us!

I'm sure several of the people in this group will have extra FE gifts (I know we will have a few) so I'm sure that if you have an FE out, you will find a few little surprises occasionally.

We ordered one too, I know ours was made from someone here on the Dis that makes them. Her work is awesome.

I have a checklist as well, on what has to be done before we drive down.

Brandon just spent 3 days at Penn State for a science fair competition. The mother of his room mate for all that time and the person he spent most of the day with has strep and apparently had it before he left-nice-

I have been battling a sinus infection/sore throat and now it's settled in my chest.

We had planned to go to my parents' this week-end-5 hours away. Mow I have to hope we feel okay and don't give them anything. My mom seems to catch everything anymore and then can't shake it-and we can't be sick for the cruise. I usually do not give my kids much in the way of meds, but I am getting him an antibiotic this time to be safe. So now I have to add a stop at the pharmacy at my list of daily travels.

Yeah my sis was doing the dolphins as well but changed over to do this excursion with us and I promised on the next cruise we would all go to Chank!!! especially since my little ones will be a little more able to enjoy the dolpins!!! She is a fabulous litl sis for making the change and giving in to the nice private beach with unlimited drinks and guacamole dip!
I think the smaller atmosphere is just more suitable for us
