Wow, you guys are chatty! (In a good way!) I had alot of pages to catch up on! Well, I'm feeling a little better today. Went to my family DR at 9:30am on Friday so they could read my TB test (neg) and draw some more blood to rule out some more things and she says she wants me to see ENT. CT showed nothing alarming (no mass tumor) but she took one look at me and said "oh my!" My face and neck looks like I should weigh 450 lbs! So I said, maybe I should go see an oral surgeon or endodontist first before ENT. She says let ENT see you first, then they'll know for sure its not something else. So they can't see me till 2:15pm. Well I had my health and life insurance license exam scheduled for 12:30pm so I drove into Houston to take it (and passed!!! guess I have a new carreer in the works!), then went on to see the ENT. On the way there, I took my first ever Loratab cause the pain had now hit a solid 10, and ENT says I think this is a hot tooth! So after my IM shot of Clindaymcin in my butt, and a script, I call DH to see if he's called the oral surgeon near his office, and he's out of town for 2 weeks! So he calls another oral surgeon who was very sweet and I went straight there, and he saw me. By now its 4:30pm and he says he could pull it, but it is a salvagable tooth, and I need to see an endodontist. I was in so much pain, I almost said just pull it, but consulted DH and he said I should try to keep it. So then on to Dh's office at 5pm to have it opened up - thank god all the kiddos and staff were gone cause at this point I'm crying like a baby and had popped a second loratab on the way. He decides he is going to sedate me with versed. DS was in the office too, assisting DH (he had been sick and missed school). So the memory is foggy after that. The last thing I remember is being woken up from the couch at 11pm still really groggy. The mass swelling is still there (they told me it could get worse - I have early Ludwigs). But hopefully the clindamycin will kick in and keep the infection from getting any worse till I see an endodontist on Mon. I was describing my ordeal to a neighbor yesterday morning and she said - don't even bother going to anyone - go straight to an endodontist. Guess I should have followed her advice! So moral of the story is, if it feels like a tooth, then it probably is a tooth, no matter what the xray doesn't show! And on top of it, I now have very little voice - guess all this swelling has affected my vocal cords too! So I'm planning on spending the weekend zoned out on Loratabs till I can get to the endodontist. On a positive note, I've lost 4 lb this week since my jaw is basically so tight from the infection, that I can only get in liquids.

Hope you are feeling better quickly. I can not imagine the pain you must be getting from this, I ended up with a root canal for a very minor issue that sent bursts of amazing pain from my tooth, to have that constantly is almost un-imaginable. Hope the weekend passes quickly for you.

Not really sure how it happened, it happened during pe when he was doing the mile run all of a sudden he got a stabbing pain in his back, couldn't catch his breath or stand up straight.

Hope he is better.

Making my packing list of important things NOT to forget today, it's soooooo exciting! It will be here before I know it and then sadly it will be over all too soon But we're already planning to rebook while onboard! Take that post cruise depression!

Dilemma ~ how easy will it be to switch to early seating at port? Unless I can switch; we may miss a couple. But I won't officially know until June 1st whether we will need early or not.

it is not always possible to switch dining times. I tdepends on what is available and how full the ship is. Sometimes people will switch to late and that opens something up. You will go and check once you are onboard-they do not take care of that at the port as far as I know.

The ship is really Full. I called today and was told there was only a hand full of rooms right now. She said not a good chance for upgrades at the port because they are so full and will save a few rooms incase something goes wrong with a room and if they need to move guest.

I asked about the upgrades that I see and read about and she said it can happen but June, July and the Holidays are usually the very Full ones and the other months there can be not totally full ships, so much easier to upgrade. Just supply and demand she said.LOL

So If you want any chance of main dine then I will call if I were you and be put on wait list.

Hi everyone. We got some really bad news yesterday and are trying to work things out about it. Thank goodness I have a vacation to look forward to that is leaving in 25 days!!!

I have sent out all of the magnets I think I needed to. If I missed anyone please let me know.

As for an after cruise meet, we would love it! Send me your DIS Name, where you are staying, for how long. I can put it up on the site and we can figure out what works for everyone!

Anyone else still looking for those to link with for dinner? If so please email me and I will get it up there ASAP.

I still have not heard about the group Palo brunch. The delay may be due to the Cozumel issue and when the "sea day" would be but not sure. They are usually good about communicating back to us about it but not so much this time around. I will call them on Monday and see if I can find out anything.

I heard that Carnival is going back to Mexico. It is funny that Disney just did not make announcements like them. I wonder though if they are still monitoring it bc in the announcement it reccomended those at high risk still avoid travel...that included children under 5, elderly, etc. Since DCL has so many kids I wonder if that is why they are just not saying anything.

I tried to look back and ready everything but I am sure if I missed something. If there is anything that you need on the site please always email it to info@westernmagic61309.info. I don't want to miss anything and if it is emailed I will be sure to get it.

My documents made it to CA from FL in just one day. They arrived about 20 miles from my house at 6:14pm on Thursday. Did they deliever them on Friday, NO....so Monday it is for us for documents.
