My daughter is trying to make heads or tails out of this situatiion.
after the infamous "lunch seat" incident, my dd decided to stay away from Molly.
yesterday on the playground Molly had some sort of argument with two other girls. the other girls realized they'd crossed a line, and tried to apologize, but Molly would not accept their apology. then both sides wnet around the playground airing their grievances and asking the other kids to choose sides.
the two girls are friends with my dd, and asked her whose side she was on. rather than remaining neutral, she said "you're my firneds and Molly isn't." she's probably going to get blamed for what happened next.
then they asked a boy named Mark which side he was on. "i'm on whatever side [Briar Rose's dd] is on." then Jon said "I'm on whatever side Mark is on" and Tiffany said "I'm on whatever side Jon is on" and so on, until the entire class was on one side, and poor Molly was by herself. I don't like Molly -- I think she's a pushy little witch -- but that's just not right.
it's 5th grade, so hopefully by this morning it will have all blown over. the whole thing reads like an episode of Survivor.
