5th Floor standard WL- is it noisy?

Another WL question...


First timer was looking for the best area for standard. Reading on the boards, I realized that it is the 5th floor...

However, I am concerned about noise from WCC or the front desk? (Mainly WCC). I am a light sleeper, but DH and kids aren't.


Where exactly are the standard 5th floor rooms? Is there any particular area we should request via fax? We are asking for bunk beds for my kids as well, if this makes a difference.

Ask to be placed down the North corridor. The lobby standard rooms wil be too noisy. We have stayed on the 5th floor North corridor and never heard the loading trucks down below, but if you are concerned you may hear noise, ask for a room as far down the corridor as possible.

We were on the 5th floor aournd the corner from the elevator. I can't remember the room number (I really thought I had it written down somewhere), anyway..the only noises I heard were one evening the family across the hall was coming in and they had a small child who was so excited that he was screaming about the events of the day. But once they got inside their door, they either quieted him down or something, because we could hear nothing else. Hope this helps.

We were in room 5028, near the elevator. This was a Woodview room on the north B building. Standard room were north A building. The view is not distastefull, but it is over the parking lot where the trucks are making delivories and the noise can be loud at times. I would guess from my notes on my report you would want to be around room number 5036 area. You can read the report on WL FAQ. It will help you with a lot of your questions. Boy did we have them, that is why I took the time to make notes and write it.
