5E QTY

Hey everybody,
We recently booked a cruise on The Fantasy this fall. We really wanted a cat 5E but all they had was a GTY in that cat. Has anyone who ever booked a GTY in this cat actually got a 5E or is it more typical to receive another cat? TIA

there are no guarantees with a GTY reservation (ironic, right!) You may get the 5E or may not. Yes, I do believe people have gotten the 5E while booking GTY.

Our Sept 2013 Dream cruise we had a 5E Gty and we're upgraded to a 4c. Was a nice cabin but we really wanted to try a 5E. We finally get to this August.

We booked a 5E GTY room for our September 2015 cruise and got assigned room 8188 last week which is a 5E room!
