So nice to hear that they are both working hard and doing so well! Raising kids is not an easy thing but it seems like you must be doing something right!!

Enjoy them while they are still at home - all too quickly they'll be all grown up and on their own.

:) Your kids sound great...It really takes dedication to achieve like they are. Keep on appreciating them like you are! And yes, it's jusr fine to share how proud you are of them.

WOW what a great accomplishment! :)
Good for them!! You have every right to brag and be proud of your kids! :)

me? I just put Mommy Brag in the thread and think whoever it bugs, doesnt have to read it :) ;) :p

Good for kids, Im so happy for you all :)

Sound like wonderful kids. :) I am a proud mommy myself, so I don't mind proud mommy threads at all.

They are the nicest kids you would want to know. Everyone tells me this. Teachers, coaches and their friends. Plus I know what a pleasure they are to have around! And that's saying something about a 15 year old teenage girl!

I thank God for the strength He gave me to raise these children and that they are as terrific as they are :)

They mean the world to me and I just needed to write this. Thanks for listening.

WOW...that brought tears to my eyes. What wonderful things to say about your children! Now, do your kids a favor ~ write these things in a little card and leave it for them to find....let them know how special they are. I bet they will treasure your note forever! ;)

Well, it's small thing to everyone else, but after 3 years of me telling him, my son actually remembered to flush and put the toliet seat back down this morning! :teeth: What a moment! :o

Pete's Mom - My 5 yr old decided to flush everytime for Lent?! I hear ya.

CRB - Congratulations on a job well done thus far! :)

I appreciate your nice words very much :) Thank you.

Pete's mom....LOL :) I remember those days well! Big steps for a little boy :)

Pembo...that's very original of your son! Pretty cute, I think!

I'd say "the apples don't fall far from the tree." :D ::yes:: I think that's great and says alot for you (and your ex-h)to have put your kids first. Congratulations to all of you. :sunny: You reap what you sow and you are definitely reaping the rewards.

Never ever, ever apologize for being a proud mom! What your children are accomplishing is outstanding! You are right to be proud and to let us all know about it.

I have 2 daughters (10 & 7) who are the world to me as well. I love the feeling I get each day after work when I pull into their daycare and have each one of them run up to give me a kiss. Just makes everything in the world right:lovestruc

Thank you for sharing!

Good advice TerriP!

At 17 my husbands father left him a beautiful letter on his pillow. 2 years later his father was killed by a drunk driver. Now at 36 my husband still has that letter, and it's a good way for him to feel close to his Dad when he needs to.

Write those great kids a letter!! :D

Congratulations to your children for all of their accomplishments and to you for raising them sooo well.:sunny:

Congratulations to both of your children for all the good work they've done :)

Congrats, CRB! It's nice to hear such great things about kids!

And congrats to anyone who has a child they are proud of. Kids come in all shapes and sizes and the pleasure and pride they give parents is immeasurable no matter what the accomplishment!

I *love* to hear stories like this, CRB! Your wonderful children are a tribute to their upbringing--kids that terrific don't raise themselves, you know!;) Congratulations on their wonderful accomplishments, and to you for a job (and a very difficult one at that!) well done! ::yes::

I love proud mommy posts. Congratulations to you and your kids. :)
