So when do you think we'll find out about the 50th or at least the end of next year for bookings and stuff.

I'm so intrigued to find out but I also understand that they may leave it months so there is a clearer picture of what October next year may look like ?

This is all speculation of course!

I think they'll create a UK ticket unlike the US daily ones but it will be like a 50th special ticket if that makes sense?

I think unless Covid19 is resolved, unlikely, they’ll want date based tickets. This prevents them from having claims from people like I’ve purchased x days and could only get in y days.

That makes sense and to be honest I do like that idea. I'm used to DLP which has day tickets anyway or the MP.

I hope they will honour uk ultimate tickets already booked...

They really should! It would be bad press and if they planned this change all along (which I do believe) then they should have never put the tickets up if they didn't intend to honour them!

Since the ultimate tickets are UK only & makes up a small amount of tickets that they will honour them, but then with covid that could be used for any excuse.

That is true, I hope they put everyone out of their misery and announce the plan sooner rather than later. Again, I understand they may want to wait until the end of the year so it isn't clouded by the virus but people have holidays in limbo because of them booking prior to the tickets being pulled.

I'm not going until December 2021 and I'm OK of they say they won't be taking park bookings for a bit, but they did say in a statement that they would announce something about the dates after 26th September this year.

Well that isn't too long to wait really. It is still a year in advance as well, which gives plenty of time for international visitors.

I'm just worried my reservation will take forever to show in MDE and it will be time to reserve parks & i'll be stuffed.

I agree, if Monday was that bad imagine what reserving days for the 50th will look like! My trip will have universal days and shopping days so I don't need every day at disney but let's be honest it is a huge part of the trip! For the price you want access!

I do not think it will be as bad. Remember park reservations was for like 15 months.

I booked last Saturday (11 nights in February for Princess Half weekend and 14 day ticket) and it still isn't showing on MDE. I've spent two days on hold to Disney but no one answers. Their own Frequently Asked Questions states:

If you have recently made a booking you will need to wait 48 hours to be able to link your booking in My Disney Experience

It's been 5 days and still no luck, so I can't reserve my park days. Planning Disney trips has always been challenging (fastpasses, dining etc) but this takes it to a new level.

The other half phoned the TA we booked through about tickets but asked about things showing in MDE as well and he said there is a backlog and he himself was waiting for his booking to show.

I amended my 2020 booking a week last Saturday (so week before you) and am still waiting. I phoned last weekend and was told bluntly it can take 14 days. I said I understand you can do this whilst on the phone if you want to and was told they could not, I suspect did not want to.

I can't find anywhere on my paperwork that states 14 days so it's frustrating we aren't told these things upfront then I wouldn't have spent all that time on hold to Disney customer services. However, because I've managed to secure a 10K bib I don't want to cancel and can't change the dates obviously, so booking into the parks is important to me so will keep trying to get through. I am a sucker for punishment!
