50th Celebration

Does anyone know when the 50th cel. is ending? I heard sept.2006 but does anyone know if it will go until the end of sept.?

That sounds right - I think it's a 18 month celebration.

It is an 18 month celebration, I do not know the official end date, they may stop it on the 5th of the month since they started it on the fifth, or they may run it until the end of the 18 month. I am not sure. I haven't seen the official end date posted anywhere.

You're right, the end date has not been posted, but previous WDW celebrations have gone till the end of the month.

I doubt it. They've sunk a lot of money into it (and they've made a lot of enemies in the baggage and towncar industries), so I think it's here forever!

18 months would be Oct. But I keep hearing Sep. Do you know which it is.

the magical express will be free till the end of December and that has been causing confusion because it is making people think that the 50th is also going on until then. Wherever this was that I read said that the 50th would end in Sept. (I don't remember if it said exactly when). I received info for my Dec. trip that I just booked and it came in a 50th celebration sleeve. I was a little shocked because I would think that they would not advertise events to someone who wouldn't be there for them?!?!

I thought it ended September 30th, but ME goes until the end of the year.

so do you think the castle decorations will come down right away? We will arrive on the 29th. I'm wondering if I should rush over to MK when we get in to snap a few photos.
