50th Anniversary?

I was wondering how difficult do you think it will be to book at the 11 month window at BCV? We plan on booking for Oct/Nov of 2021 for the Anniversary. Are they doing anything special to prepare for DVC members or just business as usual

So far sounds like just business as usual. It will probably be very in demand for all the resorts for the 50th, but especially so for the Epcot resorts since Food and Wine will *also* be going on. So I'd say it will probably be VERY difficult for those resorts. Good luck

Probably more difficult than in past years due to F&W and the marathon. Now you've got the 50th, a lot of pent up demand from those who canceled their plans for this year and plenty of used points in the system on top of the usual Fall Frenzy.

Lots of "pent up" demand and points won't help either. We will be booking the Poly (our FL home) at the 11th mo window for an early October stay. We may see if "walking" is needed.

Is there an official date the celebration begins? We travel the third week of September every year as thats our districts fall break. We start school early in our district and they are in for six weeks at that point. Wondering if the normally calm crowds then will be not calm.

I have heard October 1st as official date.

We will be trying to book our usual F&W. We normally go in October/twice early November. Hopefully no issues.

We have been @ the MK for many of the actual ‘milestone’ anniversary dates. Lots of merchandise, especially pin sets. I expect them to expand upon that area next year.

Going from memory, there was some sort of ‘limited, free’ commemorative paper hand out upon entrance on the 45th & a button that’s now in a storage box in my house. maybe someone else will remember the details
