This year my husband and I are celebrating our 50th anniversary. We love everything Disney but don’t have time for a cruise, or any of the overseas resorts. Any ideas on how we can make this memorable?
Oh, it’s on September 6th.
Thanks,
Nancy

Congratulations on your upcoming anniversary! Will you be staying at the parks or is this a one day visit? If staying, on site or off? Do you have a favorite restaurant at DLR? The Chef's Counter at NR is fun, and if you note on your reservation (you have to call NR for this) that it is your 50th, I'm sure they will treat you to a very special evening. Maybe you could order a custom cake to be delivered to whichever TS restaurant you choose? There is a custom cake thread on this forum with photos, and you can call Disney Dining for more cake information. By September, F! and WOC should both be back (fingers crossed!) -- maybe a dining package or the WOC Dessert Party? If you'll be staying at the parks for more than one day, you could make the trip about things you've always wanted to do, like tours, dining, shows, etc. Even an off site dinner could be fun. The Ranch on Ball Rd. (about 5-10 minutes northeast of the parks) is a very nice, non-chain steak house. The reviews on the food and wine are great.
