We love the 50's PT Diner, the food is excellent, the decor is wonderful, and the service is excellent!

We visited twice in September. It is not one big dining room, both times we were seated (family of three) at a corner bar type area, kind of like you would have in your kitchen, and there were just 3 or 4 different tables close by. We had an "Aunt" first and a "Mom" second. My husband ask for extra napkins and Auntie brought him a bib to put on. He is shy but actually ended up having a ball. The tables near you become your "cousins" and we got to all sign a card for, and sing happy birthday to, a young cousin celebrating. Mom gave us homework to do! It is a wonderful place to go, at least try it once!

We did hear (in another section nearby) a man singing "I'm a little teapot" but did not witness it! Yes, you have to be a good sport... it is meant to be a place to have fun and not take offense! Just know to keep your elbows off the table, eat your veggies, and so... unless you don't want to

(the "scolding" is part of the fun)! By the way, when I ask our Aunt what "root vegetables" were (that was listed on the menu with my steak) she replied "Gross, I don't like them, get something else"! I substituted mashed potatos that were delicious both times we went! Our server, ecspecially our "Aunt" was wonderful, she was one of the few that got tipped in addition to the
DDP gratuity!
