50's PT ???'s

Do you share a table with other people here or are the tables just close together? Is the food really good, or is H&V or Mama Melrose's better? Any dining reviews appreciated! We are thinking about going here for dinner? Thanks!

You'll probably get LOTS of opinions on this restaurant, both for and against. My family and I loved it. The tables were not too close together, and you don't share tables. The food is good, old-fashioned, stick-to-your-ribs food (fried chicken, meatloaf, pot roast, etc.). If you like interaction with your meals, you'll like the PTC!

We were there a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. We all had the fried chicken and it was very good. The tables are not that close together but it is rather noisy! ( just like home!)

We love this place...go on every visit. The food is excellent and the servers are wonderful. You must have the smores for desert if you go...they are to die for! And no, the tables are not too close together and depending on what time you go, it could either be busy or slow. We always go in December for lunch, and usually there are only 3-4 other tables in there with us. I highly reccomend it.

This place is a must-do for all our Disney visits.

In the old days of the 50's Prime Time Cafe, there was much, much more interaction with the guests. In fact, I can remember about 8 years ago, my BF got in "big trouble" for not eating his crusts, so our Aunt/server made him stand facing the wall, with the tip of his nose touching the wall. It was hilarious. Because he was a good sport, some of the other servers got into the action as well, yelling at him for elbows on the table, etc.

The past few times we've eaten there, our servers just weren't too "into it". We were just a little disappointed, but the food and atmosphere more than made up for it.

We just ate there 3 days ago! Food was good (not out of this world) -- I had a turkey sandwich, kids had mac and cheese and chicken tenders. We shared an order of s'mores for dessert. It's a fun place, but it probably depends on your server. Our server (and the one at the adjoining tables) really got into her part. I was made to sing "I'm a Little Teapot" in front of the room and then stand in the corner for putting my elbows on the table. A gentleman next to us was spoonfed his green beans because he tried to hide them. Another person had to stand in the corner for being a "tattletale". Needless to say, my 6 year old and 9 year old thought this was priceless. If you don't want to play along, find somewhere else to eat-- there are plenty of other restaurants with amazing food.

This is a must do for us. It is noisy and the food is not out of this world but it is a fun place to be. As stated in earliar posts if this is really not your idea of a dining experience then I would eat somewhere else.

We also love it here. Cousin Chris is the best server. And we found the food to be just fine. Even better than my mother's. We are waiting for the day to come to get our ps's for 50's PT. Just 10 more days. (or so)
