50s Primie Time or Sci-Fi

I really enjoyed it. Maybe something was wrong with the screen when I was there in December, but they were playing old cartoons, with Mickey and Donald, not bad B movies. I was actually looking forward to the bad movies . I had a great sandwich, and the best shake I've had in a long time.

I've never been to Sci Fi..Ate at 50's PT last September. It was the worst food ever. I am starting to wonder if we went on a bad night or what. All 3 of us were disgusted with our food....All the other food we had was great at the other restaurants. maybe we should give it another shot..

I recently had the same dilemma of choosing one of these two restaurants for lunch. Initially, I made an ADR for Prime Time but after a few weeks of research (yes, weeks), I canceled and made an ADR for Sci-Fi and I felt so much better. Since we are going in August, it will probably be very hot. I really liked the cool, dark, quiet atmosphere at Sci-Fi and I just want a good burger and a milkshake. I think the children will get a blast out of eating in cars while drinking milkshakes with glow cubes.

Sci-Fi..but don't expect fine dining. We ate there almost 3 years ago and yea the food is so so(wife got sick on the ribs--told her not to order the ribs)..the service is slow.. but tell me what other place that makes you say WOW KEWL when you step inside the first time like like Sci-Fi. My daughters absolutely loved this place at 4 and 2 and still talk about the "car" place to this day. We will probably go to Hollywood Studios just to eat here when if we go again this fall.

Can't comment on 50s Prime Time..I'd say the server makes that whole experience from what I've heard.

If your looking for great food I'd probably skip the theme parks and eat at the resorts. But you would miss out the the "atmosphere"..

Of all the restaurants we went to last time, the only one that is on my list to return to is the sci-fi...the kids LOVED it, they loved sitting in the cars (ours seated 7) and they loved the decor, the little stars, the food, and even the movies (which yes, did repeat 3 times while we were there). They were 10,7,and just turned 5, and weren't scared at all, they RAVED about it. We plan on returning this summer with the other set of grandparents, and we won't bother with CRT again, but we will definately be back at sci-fi!
