50's Primetime

Can you get a milkshake as a "drink" at the 50's Primetime Cafe on the DDP or is it strictly soda, lemonade, tea or coffee?

Milkshakes and smoothies seem to be at the whim of the server. Many people report they've gotten them on the dining plan, others report they were offered them in lieu of dessert, and others have reported not being able to get them at all. There doesn't seem to be a clear cut policy, regardless of the restaurant.

We were offered them at Boma and Sci-Fi.

The last time we were on the DP for Christmas, most places offered all shakes and smoothies as our drinks. I have been reading the reviews from this current free DP period and it seems that they are offering them also. I do know that some people did not get them at some places

Thanks for the posts. Would like to try a shake there on my next trip and am on the dining plan, so I was curious if it's considered a "drink" under the DDP or not.
