I liked 50's primetime. I hear it is hit or miss though depending on how well the server gets into the role. Can anyone give me the name of a server they had recently, so maybe i could try to request that person. We're going jan 17-20 when it should be a little slower.

In June we had "Aunt Janice" and she was really good. Was hoping to get her again this past Nov but she wasn't working. I was really disappointed because my first impression of our server wasn't good UNTIL he started talking. OMGoodness, "Moroccan Man"...was hilarious!! He said no one gets his name right so call him Moroccan Man. He didn't stop, he was in character the entire time...he earned his tip!!

I'd request either one of them again!

I agree the server makes or breaks the experience.

We has Cousin Cooper, he was awesome and funny, he really fit the role, I can't wait to go back and request him, I hope he'll be working.

I think we had Mom the last time we ate at 50's, so adorable and funny! It was someone's birthday in the room, so she made everyone sign a birthday card and sing her happy birthday. And she gave out clean plate stickers. (:

Cousin Cooper has been our best 50s PTC server to date. He was tons of fun!

Oh my gosh! We had Cooper too and he was AWESOME! We have ADRs in Feb. and are definitely asking for him!

:thumbsup2 Unless there are 2 "Moroccan Men" his name is Loukili & ITA he is fabulous! He was our server on Thanksgiving. Put DH in timeout for texting at the table, knew just the right line to play with DS17 & DS14.

We will absolutely be requesting him again!

We ate there once for lunch on our last trip. I cannot remember the name of our server but he was pretty good. We are going back on our upcoming trip Jan 18-25 for dinner.

We ate there three years in a row because of Lookili! The first year he totally bonded with DS (who was then 9). We went back the next year and his wife was pregnant, and in 2010 saw pics of his baby. Did he really remember us? Probably not, but he gave us such a great experience every time! That first year he made my younger daughter clean plates off the table and take them to a bussing station and was singing "Follow the Yellow Brick Road"--not knowing she'd just finished being in Wizard of Oz at her school! He also had us all call my oldest "bossy, bossy girl".
We'd go back again now that I know he's still there--we actually waited for him in 2010--but I'm all "50's prime time'd out" and want to try something else.

Thanks for all the replies. This is great information!! Looks like there are a lot of votes for Moroccan Man and Cousin Cooper!!

The first time we went (3 years ago), we had Mom. She was awesome! I wish I had a picture that I could scan for you to see her, but she was one of the best! Gave us homework as soon as we sat down, and we enjoyed it so much (well at least MOST of the table of 6 did) that we asked for more! HA HA HA!:rotfl::rotfl:

The next year we went back and had a "cousin," but unfortunately, I don't remember his name; he was kinda tall and lanky. He was also kind of aloof, but sarcastic as well. It wasn't the same experience as we had with Mom, BUT we still enjoyed it. Some might say he wasn't "in character," but who doesn't have an aloof, sarcastic person in their family???:confused3

This past January, we had Aunt Memory. She, like Mom, was AWESOME!!!! I do have pics of her, and as soon as I get to it, I'll post them so you can see her! Definitely a GREAT server!

We do 50's each year, and we have a great time each year! Good food, great service, and an awesome atmoshpere!

Until next time,
John
