50's prime time

Has anyone ever asked to replace green beans with corn at 50's? Mom's sampler just states with all the fixings. I forgot what I ordered last time. But, I was afraid to ask to swap it out. I got green beans and got in trouble for not eating it. My mom's corn looked so good.

I can’t remember whether we’ve actually asked or not, but as long as the item you want is on the menu, I don’t think there’s any problem with your asking to substitute one for the other. So go on back and enjoy that corn!

Can't speak specifically about 50's, but a couple of times I've asked them to leave off a vegetable because I didn't like it, and they've offered me any other side they had in the kitchen. Boatwright's was particularly good about this (PLEASE reopen soon!)

I always order the sampler and I get chicken and double meatloaf instead of pot roast. They will make your food however you want it.

Yes. I have many times. I don't like beans and would rather have corn. Not an issue.
