50s Prime Time Seating at more than one table for 4??

I just tried to make a ressie for four people and it told me I could, but that my party may be seated at more than one table. I've made ressies here before for four people and never had it tell me that. I have no desire to split up my family of four....does Prime Time really do that??

I've had a few WDW restaurants offer me this option when they can't fit the size party I'm trying to book for. However, I mostly find that I've encountered this when dining with 5 people, not 4.

I would book somewhere else where I could get a table for 4. Being split, even if the tables are close, is no fun.

It's standard language, particularly at Prime Time since most/all of the tables can't be pulled together. I'm not sure a CM has ever told me that on the phone, but I get it all the time when doing online ADRs. We are a family of four and have never been split. The vast majority of tables at Prime Time seem to be tables for four - I wouldn't worry about your family splitting up.

I think someone posted once about having that language on their ADR for one person!

It is possible, but last time we ate there were a party of 9 and all us were seated together.

Last August when myself and 3 of my friends from Orlando went to Hollywood Studios I made a lunch ADR at Prime Time Cafe and we were seated all together at a table for 4 people.

We've seen several large groups seated together at Prime Time. Disney tries very hard not to split groups.

I have been told that countless time for my family and we are 5 people; yet we have never once been split up.

We've NEVER been split up as a family of 5, in 5 trips with 5-8 ADRs each (and we eat at 50s each time). We've also never been split up when dining with extended family as groups of 7 or 10 or 13.
