50's Prime Time question

Can you make substitutions there? Or is that just asking for trouble
My dh would love the fried chicken with mashed potatoes, but there is no way he'd eat the southern greens. Would he be able to just get regular old green beans in place of them? Or would they make him stand in a corner if he asked?

Yes. I requested corn instead of greens with no problem what so ever.

We thought they were very accomidating . My dad ordered something they don't even have on the menu (A rootbeer milkshake) and they made one for him.

I asked for them to leave something off my sandwich. Now I was ready. I did get back "Do you see Burger King on the window, You think you can have it your way?"

I came back with...."for 12 dollars a sandwich I dont want mushrooms." My "cousin" laughed and made it my way.

It was fun.

On a side note...a nice British family sat down beside us. Oldest son wanted same change as me. I guess I should have warned him what was coming. On the other hand we all had a good laugh and meet some nice people.
