I have never eaten at either one.

Which would you recommend?

I would definitely say Prime Time! The atmosphere is fun and the food is great! it is one of our MUST DO's when we go every year. :goodvibes We love the prime time and as long as you have a sense of humor you will enjoy it!
Mama Melrose's is ok. Both places have had mixed reviews but if I were choosing I would def say Prime Time!

50's! weve done both and i much prefer it over mm. we did mm in april and while the portions are great in size i wasnt overly impressed. now pt on the other hand, i was full and gotta say loved the pb&j milkshake!

I think both are fine but we really like the atmosphere at Mama Melrose. There's something cozy about it.

Prime Time
MM was bad period besides that
No bread- was an appetizer for like 8.00 and it was not special bread
somone had to pay for a side of pasta with chicken parm and it was in a little bowl the size of a glass
the food was not good-- if it had Olive Garden prices and I had a coupon I still might not go back. :rotfl:
And I was lloking forward to this meal as the menu looked good

50's Prime Time. It's very unique. It's a Disney experience. You can find places like Mama Melrose anywhere.

50's Prime Time :thumbsup2
MM is good to if I'm going to eat Italian it would be Tony's or Tutto.

Thats kind of hard I like both.. I want to take DH to PT this yr but he insisted on MM..

Never been to 50s only because I don't feel like being harassed (even playfully) about not finishing everything on my plate! :rotfl2:

We have been to Mama's twice and have nothing to complain about! Always had good food and service with a nice, relaxed atmosphere.

We loved Primetime. I worried about the server playing it up too much, because I knew that would NOT be my husband's thing, but we tried it anyway.

Our sever was just perfect. Just enough to put a smile on our faces, but not at all irritating. She took good care of my husband when he asked to substitute green beans for the veggie that came with his meal. She said, "Of course you can, Scooter, you've got Mamma!" It was cute.

Also, he doesn't handle dairy very well and there aren't many things on the MM menu that don't involve cheese! I'd like to try it sometime though! We will for sure be going back to Primetime next visit.

I have been to both too and vote for 50's Prime Time, the food and atmosphere are both good

50's! MM is one of the worst restaurants that I have ever been too. The food was bad, the service was bad.. it was just horrible!

We went to Primetime Thanksgiving day in 07...its was terrible. Our server was awful and the food was not good. Not everyone had the traditional Thanksgiving meal either and it was still bad. CS at POFQ was better. We're trying MM in December.

We liked them both. It kind of depends on what you like. We had great service at both. At MM, we had calamari and tomato&mozz for appetizers. We loved them both. The bread was good and they brought us extra. He offered and I don't turn down bread:lmao: If you like a good steak, DH and another in our party said the steak they had was the best they had all week. DD had a penne that was really good. I'm a seafood fanatic so I got a pasta that had mussels, clams, and other seafood. WOW. It was really good. Don't get me wrong, we really liked 50's and it was fun. But, I can get good fried chicken at my parents or several local restaurants. I will go back because it is fun, but if I had to pick one, it would be MM.

We do the 50's every time we go and love it. A lot depends on the server you get, but our food is always good and the atmosphere great.
