We just booked Prime Time Cafe for Star Wars week-end...does anybody have any pictures or suggestions???? We usually always go to Sci-Fi and wanted to try something new!

THANKS!!!!!!!:yoda:

At our last visit in Feb, the PTC has a sampler platter....chicken, meatloaf and pot roast that I enjoyed very much, as it was a good portion of each along with the sides served in each individual dish. the PTC is one of our "must do" restaurants each trip....the onion rings are a nice starter....

You can order a milkshake as your beverage. I also recommend the meatloaf. We enjoyed it for lunch.

I had the Dad's Brownie Sundae for dessert and loved it so much. It's a brownie (obviously) with vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce one one side and hot fudge on the other. Topped with caramel corn, mm's (i think), whipped cream and a cherry.

Fried chicken was tasty, the southern greens were not.

I totally agree. In fact, last time we were there, as the waiter set down my chicken, he told me, "At this place you always gotta finish your veggies, but you have the greens, and they are disgusting. I'll let you slide." I tried them, and he was 100% right. I usually love greens, but these were terrible!

PTC is one of our favorite spots and we have made it a tradition. The food is quite yummy and we always love our "Aunts and Uncles". Let's see if I can get you some pics from our previous trips.

Loved 50s Prime Time. Great food and service. A little bit of antics but we were not pushing for them. The milkshakes are incredible! Get one! or Two!

OMG now that I've seen all these pictures I'm craving their chocolate malt. Best malt I've ever had! And I second (or third? I lost count) the pot roast. Absolutely delish!

WOW!!!! Thanks for the pictures!!! It all looks so GOOD!! We r sold on the Pot Pie and the SMORES!!!!! My 7 year old is now a fan of the Dad's sundae!!!! Thanks for taking the time to post pictures!!!!!!:goodvibes

Loved the fried chicken and potatoes - the greens are the worst I have ever been served anywhere! Disney should be able to fix that - the greens are just awful and I normal LIKE them. Choc malt is always a winner. Meatloaf and pot roast good.

Chicken pot pie - honestly - if that had been the first meal I had tried at this restaurant - I would not have gone back. It's very, very bland. It's edible, but boring to the max. Very salty, no flavor. Food wise, the most disappointing thing I have eaten at Disney - and that's including CS meals!

Antics - depends on your server. It's been lots of fun, it's been a dud. You can "encourage" and "discourage" interaction based on your body language and reactions.

I'll be back - but won't be ordering the chicken pot pie again!

I had the pot roast and the smores and they were both pretty good. I LOVED the smores! I even had to make some on our gas stove when we got home because I was craving them. I was 7.5 months pregnant, so I'm using that as my excuse!

I second the pot roast and dad's brownie sundae!! We love 50's PTC and are going again during Star Wars Weekends! Can't wait!!

50's is so much fun! We're planning to go back, but not for the food. ;) I thought most of it looked pretty nasty. FWIW, fried chicken and meatloaf aren't big on my list of favorite foods though. We ate here because it looked nifty and wanted to try something new.

Kids' meatloaf:

ds says he won't be ordering this one again.

Fish Sandwich: Yummier than it looked

We were too stuffed for dessert! The restaurant is tons of fun though. We loved Uncle Tim and the kids were wild over the theme. Have fun!

We'll be there first week of June for 10 nights and 50's Prime Time is always a must-do!! I can't wait to go!! :thumbsup2

The onion rings and peanut butter and jelly malt are great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To see what it's like go to you tube wdw prime time cafe and see for yourself

I went to PTC on my trip in March. I love 50's things! This place was awesome! The old tv clips showing on the old tvs everywhere... the atmosphere....the food! Wow!!! I had the fried chicken... Soooo much chicken but SOOOO good!! I had a really hard time not finishing everything. I never had greens before-these were okay. My group and I had about 3 glasses of soda each so our "aunt" made a few comments about that. I was hoping for more but I was really happy with my experience there!!

Hearing all the good things about it makes us excited about switching from Sci-Fi. Thanks for the youtube hint, I will check it out now!!!!!!!!!!

50's WONDERFUL!!!

Been eating there for years. The Fried Chicken is great, but, I ask to swap out the greens for Green Beans.

We always have great time at 50s. We always leave smiling!
