Do you like 50's Prime Time Cafe? I would like to know all about it. Is the food good?

:worship: Love Prime Time :thumbsup2 Food is all good. Try the Pot Roast it is sooo good:cool1: Fun place to eat:rotfl2:

Loved it!! Went there for the 1st time on our last visit and now it will be on our must-do list. I agree that the Pot Roast is delish. My hubby got the meatloaf and he loved it. Kids shared a fried chicken and it was great- def enough for them to share. The atmosphere is so great and fun!

Our family enjoys 50s Prime Time Cafe. We do not eat there every trip, but we have eaten their 3x and will eat there again in about a week. Some of the great food items include the pot roast, fried chicken and peanut butter & jelly shake. That milkshake sounds weird, but I am telling you it is amazing! The server antics can bug me sometimes, because I am not always in the mood to be told to "eat my green beans" or to "get my elbows off the table", but I know it really is all in good fun. The atmosphere is very cool.

DH and I love this place, the best fried chicken ever!!

Love it! It's my #1 choice for TS at DHS....love love love their meatloaf

We go here every other trip for dinner. We don't like it at lunch because it's such heavy food and we don't like riding rides after eating here.

We do not like the server antics but the CM's seem to be very good about picking up on that and leave us alone. The food has been consistent here. And the smores dessert is one of my favs at WDW and the true reason I book this place.

We enjoy it there a lot! We prefer to go for lunch. I love the atmosphere and the food is very good. I love their fried chicken, it is so good!

It was a cute place to eat. Our server had us watching our manners, but he didn't stand anyone in the corner for not eating their veggies!

I had the pot roast - it was yummy! Most at our table got the fried chicken and said it was good. DH ordered the Tuna Casserole - which is not what you think it is. It is a Tuna steak on top of a noodle casserole. All very good. I highly recommend the peanut butter & jelly milkshake - it is awesome!

We all enjoyed our meal there. I wouldn't hestitate to eat there again - although I wouldn't make it a must-do-every-trip place.

We ate here on our second trip to WDW as a Family in 2007 . Loved the menu choices , don't remember exactly what we had but all the choices were perfect for our family because we really don't care for fancy food . They were all things that you would make for your family at home which is perfect for kids . The service however wasn't very good , I was expecting to be told to eat my greens and things like that but our waiter wasn't very interactive and this disappointed us all . Don't think we will be eating at the 50's Prime Time again . We however ate at the Hollywood & Vine which is practically next door to the 50's Prime Time and has the same theme , it's a 50's diner , only downfall is that it is a buffet you don't get served at the table . They Have awesome food at the Hollywood & Vine though & now that I've ate there it's one of my WDW favorites. Just a suggestion for a Restaurant that would have the same feel as the 50's Prime Time if you decide against it.:goodvibes

it's very good. i made reservations there for our upcoming trip. i cant wait for their peanut butter and jelly shake. surprisingly tasty!

One of my favorite meals in the World is the Fried Chicken with a Peanut Butter & Jelly milkshake. Not healthy at all, but so delicious. And the whole family loves the interaction with the CMs. If you get the right CM, it's so much more than just a meal.

I have been there three times and my favorite thing to order is the Meatloaf, then a Strawberry Ice Cream Sundae for dessert.

Here are three photos from our lunch at 50's Prime Time from October 2008.

Fried chicken was yummy....but I don't think it is a MUST do for our family....it was alright, glad we did it, but there are soo many places to try

Love it love it love it! The meatloaf is my all time favorite! I don't see how anyone could finish the friend chicken! I love the atmosphere as well with the tv's showing all those old tv shows! It is very heavy and filling food so eat for dinner or if you do go for lunch wait a while beofre going on anything crazy!
