We'll be there in March :hyper: Could you please tell me what's good there to eat? I heard the meatloaf is good, what else is a must have??? Thanks

Have enjoyed both the pot roast and the fried chicken. I would not hesitate to try either again. My Mom practically licked her plate clean the time she got the meatloaf. She said it was great.

I got the fried chicken and the shrimp and scallop pasta both were excellent!

Another vote for the fried chicken!!!!

Don't forget the smore for dessert..............it covers an entire plate!

Pot roast was awesome. DH liked his chicken pot pie and my oldest son loved the chicken noodle soup. Dh also really loved his huge sundae...It was all good. We're definitely going back!

Another vote for Fried Chicken! Had it 3 times. Don't forget to eat all your veggies. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

My vote is fried chicken too. My teenager loved the meatloaf and my hubby really liked his pot roast. I have yet to hear anyone complain about anything they have had there so my guess is you wouldnt have a bad choice no matter what it was.

My fav is ... S'mores :teeth: (see my sweet tooth there). I had and really enjoyed the fried chicken. My DS11 had salmon and said it was good, although I think he liked the salmon at 1900 Park Fare more (we had the dining plan and he had salmon at each TS meal - go figure. He rates the salmon 1st mine awww, 2nd 1900 Park Fare, 3rd CRT lunch, 4th Prime Time).

We always get meatloaf (me...yum!!), pot roast (DH) and S'Mores!! Double yummmmm
All 16 marshmallows worth :teeth:

SkipperBubba pirate: must always have the fried chicken. It is indeed very good. I tend to bounce around the menu, and have tried the meatloaf and pot roast as well. All excellent. We do miss the fried onion straws since they took them off the appetizer menu, though.
Enjoy,

:cool2: I'm so glad to hear all these reviews. I too am going to Disney in March and we'll be eating at 50's Diner the 1st night! I have been thinking of the pot roast but was a little afraid, now I know that it got great reviews here so I'll probably try it! Thanks!

Im in the "business" and I can say without a doubt the Fried Chicken, Pot Roast, Chicken Pot Pie, Meatloaf, Seafood Pasta are all excellent :thumbsup2 now if they would only bring back the stuffed tomato with chicken or tuna salad with crystallized pineapple all would be right with the world. pixiedust:

I love the fried chicken, here's a pic (my bf thought I was taking a picture of him but I was really taking a picture of my entree lol)

This is the only place I will order meatloaf... anywhere!

Cheers!

One yummy meal on the dining plan:

1. Fried Boursin Cheese Appetizer
2. :worship: PB&J Milkshake
3. Meat Loaf
4. Dad's Sundae
5. TUMS :crazy2:

I have had most of the meals here and the meat loaf, fried chicken, pot roast, and chicken pie are all good.

Thank all of you so much. We were debating going here and now it has definetly moved to the must visit list.

Another vote for the Fried Chicken and S'mores! Another thing to note, we ate here when I was preggers with my twins. I ordered a Mandarin Chicken Salad, and when it came to the table there was no way I could eat it - it just smelled "off" to my pregger self. I told "Mom" about my situation, and she was AWESOME, took me right to the kitchen (the doors of course) had "Dad" the chef come out, and he told me he would make me anything I thought I could eat! SO NICE!

Really great food and WONDERFUL CM's!

Enjoy!
