$500 gift card with DVC

We recently bought into DVC at AK. At the time the "deal" was a $500 gift card. Can we use that towards the cost of a cruise? If not, what can we use it for? thanks

If it is a VISA gift card, then the answer is probably. Your travel agent may accept it in person, you will have to ask. If you book direct with DCL you will need to see if they accept a VISA gift card over the phone towards payment. Worst case, you can apply it to your shipboard account once you are onboard the ship.

If it has the Visa logo on it, it would normally be accepted just like a credit card at any major store that accepts Visa credit cards. It doesn't have to be Disney related.
