50 yr celebration

Has anyone heard the exact date that the 50yr. celebration will end?? I want to plan a vacation next year but I want to make sure I go before it ends. Thanks in advance

I don't think there is an official end date yet. It's an 18-month celebration and it started in early May, so it will probably end in October 2006.

The official end date, according to an email I received from Guest Services, is Sept. 30, 2006. That coincides with the end of a lot of special promotions, as well, so I think it's pretty definite.

I was trying to find out when the castle decorations will come down -- we're going in October '06 and had hoped to see them. The CM who sent the email said they didn't know "when or if" the castle will be redone.
