$50 Skyauction question

Just got this e-mail from skyauction:

We are giving everyone $50 off
ALL AUCTIONS for the next 30 days!
It's Customer Appreciation Month, to celebrate, we present a $50 coupon redeemable upon payment for any auction in the next 30 days. Bid on airline tickets, hotels, cruises and vacation packages to all corners of the globe.

For some reason, I'm not quite getting their wording. Do you know if that means off the auction you win, or off a subsequent auction?

I took it to mean if I bid on an auction now I get 50 off. But now I'm questioning that myself???

I emailed them on that & they said no. Which really makes no sense to me, we paid for that $100 travel cert & the $50 is a bonus to anyone. However, if they say no, it is no. I was all set to use it. Now I am thinking, do I use their $50 & save my $100... if I used my $100, I am throwing away $50 of it.. at least that was how I came to my decision.. save it...

that is what it means.. you take the $50 off the auction that you win between those dates...

That is a good question, didn't you get one via email? are you on thier "promo" email list? I would think that anyone can....

Actually, I wasn't asking CAN anyone take advantage of the offer(although that's a good question)...I wanted to know DID anyone take advantage of the offer yet. As I understand your answers, if your auction totals $250 between these dates, then you just pay $200, right?

Sorry, I misread it. This morning I woke up with a super migrane & didn't stay on the computer long. I really wasn't thinking too straight when I read it.. I did take it as Can.. not did...

I guess no one has used it yet. If they did, they haven't responded ...or I might have missed that too now

There wasn't really a link, just an e-mail.

Does that mean that it's tied to one's e-mail address and only people purchasing using certain e-mail addresses will receive the $50 discount?

rui girl - you've bought from them before, right? didn't you get an e-mail? maybe it got filtered into a spam account. or do you have to sign up for their special promotions?

Its funny, months ago I signed up for their specials etc. and used to get them , but they stopped emailing me. I will email them and try and get back on their email list.
I also now have the $50 off code, thanks to a kind diser pming it to me.
