When do you get the $50 gift card if you purchase the Delux AP from Costco? I called the park, guy said " you get the voucher @Costco, go directly to the Bank and process it to an AP. Then you "go back out and get the Gift Card at the ticket booth" is that correct??? Wouldn't they just give it to you when you get your AP or am I missing something? :confused3

thanks

I just did this in March. You take the voucher that you get from Costco to the regular ticket booth outside of the park. They take all of your personal information and process a temporary AP there. They also give you the $50 gift card at the same time. You take the temp AP to the gate and show your ID so that they know that you are the AP holder. Then once you are in the park, you head to the Bank and they take your pic and turn the temp AP into the hard plastic AP with your photo on it. It is very simple. Doesn't take too long depending on how busy the bank is. You are good to go enjoy the park and use your gift card :goodvibes

Thank You.
The CM got the whole thing wrong. He said "take voucher to gate ,go to Bank get AP then go back out to get the gift card" sheesh make it up as you go along why don't you!!

Wow, that CM was totally wrong. Glad you double checked here! :)

Thanks for the post Leofoenget - we have the Costco vouchers and can't wait to exchange them at DLR in 3 weeks!

Thanks for the clarification fantasy! :thumbsup2

Yep, how WDWfantasy describes it is exactly how it worked for me too, back in December. I went from the ticket booth, to the gate, to the bank, with no back-tracking.

As a caveat, if you've had an AP within the last 2 years, they have you on file and can print out a new AP (with your old picture), and give you the $50 dollar gift card right there at the ticket booth. This is how I got my AP and gift card in February.

If you've never had an AP, then you'll have to do the booth, gate, and bank routine.

I did this too. Also, if you want to add parking to your AP, save your parking reciept and bring it with you. Although you cannot use your costco gift card to pay for your deluxe AP, you can use it to pay for the parking add on if you wish. With my parking reciept and the $50 gift card, I actually got a couple of dollars back. And I did it all at the ticket booth, since I had an AP within the last couple of years.

Have a great time!

Just to clarify anyone else's questions, I looked at my AP voucher last night. I ordered the Deluxe AP w/$50 gift card online. I received two paper tickets in the mail. At least, I thought they were tickets until I noticed that they didn't have a bar code. I then read the small print below which tells you to go to the ticket booth. From there you will enter through the turnstiles and then to the bank. Since they look like park hopper tickets, I just wanted to save anyone from extra time!!
